That's not quite what happened though is it? We also have Burn who can cover LB, Krafth and Trips for RB. We were so comfortable we could loan out Targett. We have Lascelles/Schar/Thiaw/Botman on top of that for 2 CB positions. I'm not saying I like those FB options or don't want more, but we were pretty well covered before a ridiculous number of injuries.

Good comparison although he’s better at driving with the ball than Bissaka. Definitely not the technical quality of Walker though.

Why did we start talking about ankle injuries My non-sport one (think it was about the 3rd) was just loading stuff into my car when moving house. Stepped on the edge of the path while carrying a heavy box. Then I had to drive from London to Newcastle immediately Lucky it's normally the left one that goes.

I would assume it's fairly rare for an athlete to get just a bone break without other damage. Unless it's something freaky like they drop something on their leg at home etc.

Had the same but I'm assuming the level of analysis and treatment available to a pro footballer should be able to sort it. Like, I badly damaged my ankle, walked back to work, worked all day and let it heal for several weeks before seeking treatment, I'm assuming Fabian will be told not to do that

I was never massively a DCL hater but I don’t think he was particularly good last night. Good at battling CBs for high balls obviously, but otherwise I don’t remember much. Leeds are a high energy team and pressed us well generally. That was where most of their joy came from.

I didn’t realise he was in form either, assumed he had been wank this season as usual.

Will always be Keegan emotionally but almost inseparable from Howe now. Love Bobby as a person obviously but I feel those two are the clear best. Rafa was great but I can’t really separate that era from Mike Ashley so ruins it a bit. I knew Ashley would eventually fuck it.

If Botman finishes the season well that should end any thought of selling him IMO. Make him the Burn successor and look for another option alongside.
