  1. Think he means in jest if they build a mini stadium as part of a new training complex
  2. Is this it for him or is he still under contract come the summer?
  3. Spent years hiding behind baggy stuff (dont think it worked) adidas do a load of oversized stuff i purposely buy it in smaller sizes to make it regular fit. Like I say not going to twist too much its a good thing but just means instead of hoping they do massive sizes in things I now need to put the effort to try things on # first world problems. Bought the 95 home strip when it relaunched in 2xl and never wore it now too big and can't find it for sale any more 😫
  4. Kit,tshirt and sweater got the black drill top and dont like the fabric.
  5. 16 stone 4 down at this point mate I have no idea what my size is these days. I literally am still a XL in some stuff and a medium in others it's a nice problem to have just a pain in the arse sight unseen.
  6. Can't get on adidas website and app not showing anything. No idea if its true to size or loose fit i need to go down a size
  7. How can one man write so much and say so little. Could have done it as a tweet instead "new training ground announcements said to be close"
  8. While he didn't get injured on purpose I dont think he "deserved" a new deal but good to protect an asset hopefully he stays fit and becomes an asset to the team.
  9. Just suffered through the latest Craig no Hope youtube for my sins as he seems to get good info albeit not always welcome news. He is saying club are now actively looking at a RCB bringing forward summer spending as schar out till April at the earliest and matt targett recall deadline is rumoured next Friday but issue is player happy being no.1 at boro.
  10. While I get the clubs reluctance to buy because of an injury crisis its not like if they were all fully fit this work would be redundant otherwise. We all know major surgery is needed due to the age and contract situation of lascelles, kraft, schar, Trips and targett thats before you have potentially tino going if he won't extend. I do understand availability and cost of players may well be more in Jan but clubs come the summer will know we need defenders and be hard sellers regardless.
  11. In this situation a loan may be a better short term fix depending of course on the loan fee if they worried about being tied to the wrong player for years to come.

agreed I think it was the 6 min mark he tried one of his long low passes and it went straight to a Leeds player and they tried to break on us. Too many games too many mins or just an off day certainly can happen to even the best players he did manage to do some ok stuff despite the errors. I was just not sure what was happening first half at all were we trying to go 3 at the back at times? Lewis Hall was sometimes in the CB position, Thiaw was sometimes on the other side of the pitch assume it was instruction or just the way Leeds were pressing.
  13. I dunno what metric he wants to be judged when on with neville he went on about 20 goal contributions a season to be in that "upper bracket winger". When this isnt happening is he wanting us to judge him on distance ran? Progressive carrys? Or just whatever has him near the top? I get the general ethos of its about the team not the individual and being selfless isnt something to have a go at him for. However hes an attacking player getting regular starts in a side struggling to score so yes his contributions towards goals is important.
  14. Its the gamble/ risk vs reward the club will have to weigh up though. No point say putting him on 100k or 120k a week 5 year deal and him spend half or more on the treatment table. The club can't afford to "carry" a player who cant stay fit. We are moving into a next phase of the back line with the keeper situation very much unresolved and older players likely moving on. I would like to build around sven and thiaw but to do that has got to be available. I also think it would be madness to not tie him down so he cant leave for nowt but thats why if hes not signed and extension come the summer or the club haven't seen a run of fixtures of him fit and performing I wouldn't be opposes to seeing if there us a buyer for him.
  15. The debate/issue for me is not how good he can be or what he can bring to the team hes down to a couple of years on his contract so the debate is for me is he worth a new 3 or 5 year deal with the wage bump that will likely come with it. Especially when you factor in the actual availability hes offered the last 2 years. If your going to commit we have to be sure we can get 40+ appearances from him a season and right now these niggles and recovery periods seem to stack up. I dont think we can afford to carry someone on 100k plus a week to be in and out of the team. Especially when you factor in kraft, Trips, schar, lascelles and Burn likely to go in the next 6 to 24 months.
  16. Won't see massive influx but may feel with injuries meaning we bring forward some summer plans early? All depends if who they want is out there and the fee is right. No panic buying we will regret hopefully.

Availability is the biggest one right now and consistency. He was also playing on the other side and didn't really do anything wrong either.

The wandering into midfield with no idea what to do next is annoying but agreed the crossing is very consistent. Wissa in the right place just too high for him at times.
  19. Not sure it was down to Fulhams tactics of wanting to hit us on the counter but was pleased to have them pushed back into their final third for chunks of the game. Winning the ball back higher up the pitch was also a nice welcome return. That final killer ball, messy pass, clumsy chip etc was still frustrating to see from an attacking sense but felt we kept plugging away and deserved the winning goal.
  20. Out of contract come the summer isn't he?
  21. Silly yellow but some very good passes particularly first half. His runs into midfield do scare me at times travelling so far out of position but was never punished for it. Not sure I misheard commentary but does his yellow mean he miss the first leg of the semi?
  22. Agreed although different players entirely there needs to be a decision to stick or twist with the likes of willock and botman both 25/26 both with a couple of years left you either back them with a new deal or sell while they have an ok current contract length. Based on botmans first year I never ever thought I would considered selling but 2 years worth of injuries and my pettiness for his rat loving I wouldn't mind going back out for a fresh face. Issue with that all the older players that also need sorting we already have major surgery to do in the back 5 next year or two. Saying that we cant allow him to run his contract down the summer is going to be a big decision for the club if we haven't announced an extension by then.
  23. Too true not sure at least publicly the manager thinks that. If the osula stuff a goer it will be telling if we go for another project player or add to the fee and go for someone of a higher immediate quality.
  24. Still think that hinges on what happens with osula unfortunately. We have spent 120m+ on our front 2 and while its not quite working not sure if the club feel the same way. I would like an attacking midfielder or no.10 brought in one who can drive us forward and has an eye for goal but not sure that will be the plan.
  25. I would never say prioritise but we are most light at the back in general and have the most injured in that area. It may have changed the clubs thoughts on who to target. Also factors like will osula get sold or willock go may also factor in. I am unhappy how we lack a spark up front but cant keep flogging tino or hall. Hope because the club realise the squad needs help we dip in the market in more than one place. Even better if they can convince Howe to take on loans.
