absolutely floundering. hasnt got a clue. spouting pure fucking waffle. stick a grunting pig on screen and it wouldn't be any less informative. the man is a joke. but hey, he's a nice guy.

rafa had arranged 2 really hard working players (yes, i'm including ayoze) buzzing around a beast of a centre forward. people forget that last few months of his was a joy. never thought we'd get stuffed no matter who we played. knew we'd always have a chance.
-
did you read the pre-match interview with bruce. it was just so negative. no wonder they go out looking scared shitless when bruce is telling the world that every team we face is a really strong team with good players and we have to try keep it tight and see i we can nick something..
-
he needed sir bobby.
-
brighton winning at villa. you just know bruce's spiel before we go to villa park. "they're a good team, spent a lot of money, top 6, some great players, we cant go toe to toe, got to keep it tight etc etc".
-
that same down to his left was top class.
-
caught jake humphrey's half time talk. he nailed it. where's the response to the southampton debacle. i think he also asked what they'd been working all all week. also ridiculed the "fans expect champions league" quote. good lad.
-
not as good as Robert's.
-
miggy will be dropped due to him travelling back from international duty. bruce is probably sighing with relief on the inside as he has a ready made excuse for not having to make a decision as to where to play him.
-
bbc should be ashamed of themselves.
-
just as rafa's team had started to sort out the soft tissue injuries problem at the club.
-
i read somewhere last week that bruce says that's where ASM wants to play. ffs, man. get a frip of ya players.
-
i remember panicking after losing our first 2 games in the champo. but Rafa was calm, and came out saying he knew what he was doing, stuck to his beliefs, and the rest is history.
-
i'm rattled, i admit. these could go up this season.
-
Alreet then a young Jermaine Beckford... ah, memories....
-
fucking hell why the hell has he had that run? Justify his transfer fee? to desperately try and save ashley and nickson the shame of admitting they completely fucked up on this one and should've listened to Rafa.
-
i think people are saying he wasnt as bad as usually. that doesnt mean he was great. there are levels between shite and world class.
-
Not sure what we’ve done to deserve this absolute shower of local journalists. john gibson's not the greatest, but he's a level above the other spineless sycophants. wish they would let him into one of bruce's press conferences.
-
turning into a really hard working box to box player.
-
you're all fucking mad . Lee Ryder has spoken... Miguel Almiron 6 Not his day as he struggled to make an impact and didn't manage a shot or a cross.
-
so much more movement without shelvey and joelinton on the pitch. first game joelinton's missed? still needs to take ASM out of the centre. miggy was fucking everywhere again. but just for the bants ...... Miguel Almiron 6 Not his day as he struggled to make an impact and didn't manage a shot or a cross. (Ryder - and that's Lee sober not Shaun off his tits)

Rafa Facts @FactsRafa · 4h We were the 4th highest scoring team in the second half of Rafa’s last season only Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal scored more. The impact of giving Rafa a talented player. You give Bruce Saint-Maximin, Almiron, Fraser, Wilson and he still produces Tony Pulis football with itRolling on the floor laughing

it'll be the one time when fake dhgate shirts will be of a better quality than the real ones.

Yeah he was canny for us, showed flashes of brilliance and was always neat and tidy - even when he wasn't at his best . Had plenty of potential. But I wouldn't say he was great for us was great before his injury, then never quite got back up to those standards.

Andy Gray talking on beIN Sports: “It is a smash and grab [for Newcastle]. “They contributed nothing to the game really, in an attacking sense, until they went one down. “I said to you [Richard Keys], watch the next nine minutes after they went one down and look at how many men they get forward. “In the first 80 minutes they did nothing like that. “I don’t get it. “I get that you can defend and be deep but I don’t get your adventure can be zero. “That is what it was for Newcastle and it doesn’t please me to say that about that club, or Steve [bruce], because I like Steve, but I just think that they offered nothing really going forward at all, until the 81st minute when they went one down. “I’d expect more from Newcastle tonight and we didn’t get it. “I don’t know what Newcastle fans would think…I don’t know if they would go home thinking: ‘That’s a great result, I’m happy with that.’ “Or whether they would say: ‘That was a tough watch.’ “I’d like to think, knowing what I have seen over the last 25 years from that club, some of the brilliant sides I have seen, the entertainment I have watched up there, been to watch millions of games up there. “I’d like to think the majority would say: ‘That was a tough watch.’…”
