Attitude wise he's garbage idd, actually well Remy might be the total garbagepack. But seeing as we're gonna run the counter-attack 24/7 I don't really think it would be that bad - depending on the roleplay he will do in the dressing room. Ah well. Should still go for Michy or Gray or something. Personally from what I saw I don't really see Perez as the solution, but ah well. Rafa does what Rafa wants

Facundo looks like Mitrovic in the youtube clips. Although, I do believe Mitrovic can actually contribute if we just give him the friggin' delivery. Think it will be rough tho, the team is gonna sit low and counter, which makes Gayle the much more probable outcome of the ST role.

Whatup with all this Lucas Perez, he hasn't done shit in PL now has he. We need to get a loan deal for Michy or Remy or whatever.

Anyone else felt lost when Markovic faded out and left for Sporting?

Not sure we reached anything besides backup. However, worth noting that Hanley has the necessary experience both Champs and PL and the guy is only 24 even tho he looks like he's 44. Might even turn into something in the future. Will be interesting to see how Yedlin does, if he evolves and becomes somewhat stable. This is a new back 4 and I just hope Dummett gets benched sooner rather than later, although we tried similar s*** with Simpson and he won the league so, who the f knows Murphy will do good as backup after Nitro goes KABOOM and gets served his reg reds Money used will become money in when he changes around the squad again to enter PL next summer, just you wait and see. Rafa isn't blinded, he knew what he needed THIS season and stayed focus. When and if we enter PL you'll see another shitstorm coming. True what was mentioned about his "system", however at RM there was alot mavericks... they didn't exactly go missing, but not excelling either so that's up for discussion. Would actually have liked another look at Markovic, unfortunately that rumour wasn't true :/ Thinking he would do good in Champs and be awesome in PL after learning the ropes.

Someone up 2 date on where we can watch this at all? Heard something about Bet365... beIN Sports?
-
If we survive this hellhole again, just think how we can look come autumn...actually might be a PROPER summer
-
And they have Chelski match today... ah well. As long as we can keep this half of the squad fit That clean sheet and +3 in goal diff is just as important, only -1 behind Norwich now.
-
It wasn't REALLY shakey, usually in a match there are a couple of opportunities for the OPP. Was ALOT better than earlier matches and I also think we saw a collective pressing today which has been lacking for the 90+ mins in other matches - starting from the top.

Anyone know if Saivet is active?
-
There's too many random managers available that we will never hit a top target
-
Im thinking that was why Thauvin was brought in....
-
Saivet will be/come good if he can stay fit... being top of injury table I don't say that lightly
-
He'll be playing against Watford I think, maybe if he does something decent there he will get another run... was deffo bad management dropping him, as everyone has claimed earlier that he's a player that needs a run of games to get back in "shape". He has seemed kinda sluggish when he's played earlier, but unless you're willing to do what it takes to get him into shape we could just sell him on...

I'd take a Cabayeish CM as main priority, as they seem to gambool on a small squad anyway. Second would be a ST I guess, then LB and CB.
-
We have a replacement in Mbabu, he nevers gets the chance because Dummy obv. never makes any mistakes according to SMC. Get some glasses while you're at it, will ya? :/
-
He just needs to hit the net, give him some FA cup time or whatever and boost his confidence. Should be good. Would also be better if we actually gave him time to get in the box and make some runs.
-
ARE YOU BACK NOW, Tiote?!!!! That would be fancy
-
That wount work, Sissoko was not doing any good defending wise today, if so he needs to watch some Vieira videos first. Gini did OK, but I think he and Perez switched places today, putting Perez out wide and Gini in the CF role. But at this time, everything could be worth a gambool, I guess. Perez and Thauvin needs to switch sides in that setup however, as that would mean crosses, if they play like that setup they will only go inside on each side - so that setup there wouldn't necessarily mean any more crosses in the box.

similar things could be said for the performances vs Liverpool and Spurs but that was followed up with 1 point out of 9 vs Villa, Everton and WBA so no I wouldn't say its because of SMC and more by the players to try and impress any scouts watching. Isolated maybe, as we suddenly showed up in those matches. But when I claim season best I'm looking deeper, like the way players interacted, the possession/controlling of the game, the somewhat calmness to take some time instead of just hoofin n poofin like earlier blasting the ball upwards in the hope of something magical happening. Again, I see claims Arsenal played badly... ok, they ran tracks over us for the first quarter, so they just thought - we can't take our chances, let's just have them play for a lil? Still think we made them look bad, due to the organized pressure and interest to actually win the match and trying to do so. That said, it's obv. there's a lack of vision in the centre of the pitch. We need atleast 1 there whom can see the passes that needs to be made forward instead of to the side or backwards which too often happens unf. Also saw Colo both yellin and pointing fingers. Perez tackling like he was Tiote etc. Lots of glimpses today, which has not been seen in the mentioned Spurs and Pool matches imo. We're still doomed tho., so it's not like it's all red roses and whatnot.
-
Because they wount play to eachothers strenghts most likely... they are too similar in style. If you want a pairing you need something like Bony Aguero or whatnot, 2 different breeds. Unfortunately we don't have anything like it, closest would be Armstrong who obv. is not around
-
I just hope Shelvey being out of Swans doesn't mean that he's arriving at SJP... f me.
-
After the first 10-15 we "dominated" as good as any. I would actually claim that we made Arsenal play bad (as compared to lots of others in herre who obv thinks Arsenal just played bad from the getgo - which they obv. didn't in ref. to the opening minutes). Season best imho and I think if we continue down this path where it's somewhat controlled possession countering, then we will be good as long as we take SOME of the chances we receive in every match. Looked like a whole new team out there today... and I'm actually amazed at what I saw. Was it SMC who made this happen?
-
Not sure Gini would really cover the CM spot, I'd gambool for the Sissoko. Gini needs to play free 10.

Haven't seen Saivet too much in the CM, but he'll be worth a shot, but it'll take hard convincing. We're relegation candidates... hard-sell!
