  1. there will be good drinking near the ground though for those without tickets Also it will be an interesting atmosphere in the ground with loads of dogs in the stadium. I must admit like when i asked Archie he was well up for it, he reckons there's a fountain in the city where its effectively all you can drink.....for free. http://i938.photobucket.com/albums/ad223/Philly1983/f15fbcaf.jpg
  2. Mine said Brussels when i went last year and had no problems, the site does say Any Belgian Station but i really wouldn't worry about it.
  3. Can you book travel from Newcastle on the eurostar site? Yeah, you can book your whole trip. Can you send a link to the booking page because I can't see it on th eurostar site. Cheers. Would save some hassle if it could be done all in one. I've just been looking and its gonna be about £200 for the trains at a reasonable time. Only going up as well. Don't know what to do... just type Newcastle in the from and any belgian station in the to. http://www.eurostar.com/dynamic/_SvBoTravelFaresSelectTerm?_TMS=1346871598105&_DLG=SvBoTravelFaresSelectTerm&_LANG=UK&_AGENCY=ESTAR
  4. Can you book travel from Newcastle on the eurostar site? Yeah, you can book your whole trip.
  5. Poor AC, just imagine the phone call if Liverpool recalled him in January.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Love watching him play. When he first joined us i found him frustrating because he always seemed to be trying to do too much, I do think that Pardew and the coaching team deserve a lot of credit for the way he plays now. Not for the skill and technique because that was always there but for the hard working attitude and discipline that he shows during matches now.
  7. I dread to think how many people are going to be in Brugge, if Birmingham had 10k there i can see us having a similar figure. At £6 a pint we will save the Eurozone singlehandedly.
  8. Think ill see how much money I've got left from Brugge then book Bordeaux. I'm very tempted to road trip it and drive there.
  9. Why wouldn't we? No idea, the villa fan who had tweeted it said...... @GeordieVillan: I no #nufc fans arn't the friendliest towards #avfc but would like them to respect our 19th minuet applause for out captain #Pray4Petrov
  10. A few people on twitter are asking for us to respect the applause for Petrov that villa fans are planning for the 19th minute.
  11. Brugge via Eurostar booked. Paid for 4 people in one go
  12. Actually the connection to Brugge is 60 mins. For those who are going this way, this may come in handy. http://i938.photobucket.com/albums/ad223/Philly1983/D62A06DF-1784-4D8A-865E-4D5E89984412-25250-00001A7B6EEF88B5.jpg
  13. I'm pretty sure that is becuase it's only the Eurostar service which is specific- the onward journey is valid for any service except the ICE and Thalys services which are other international services. I've just booked a train+hotel package and it comes up with 'Brussels' but the hotel I've booked is in Bruges as part of the same deal, so I'm assuming the website books the trains correctly! With your Eurostar ticket you can get on any connecting service, doesn't matter which. I done it last year when I went to Brugge via Eurostar. It's about 30 min on the train from Brussels
  14. Bordeaux flights from London are £99 return with BA.
  15. Newcastle to London East Coast £55.60 London to Brussels Eurostar £40.50 Brussels to Brugge £free with Eurostar ticket Brussels to London Eurostar £40.50 London to Newcastle £26.80 That's what I'm looking at, that's returning on the 10th for some "sight seeing" time.
  16. He's enthusiastic and is a big lad for his age but i'm still not convinced he'll make it as a premier league player. Exactly this, really need to progress over the next year if he is to succeed.
  17. Fair enough. The deal is done so to NUFC it's irrelevant. However I've been on this site for near on 5 years and never posted a ITK. Take it as you will.
  18. Go home http://www.glory-glory.co.uk/ Totally lost with that link, I have never posted as ITK and wouldn't unless I was told up front as I have been. Take it as you will but we were on the table but wouldn't be considered because of the deal we dealt.
  19. I am ITK, the deal is worth 22M if a full transfer goes through at the end of it this excludes wages. West Ham pick that up.

    Joey Barton

There was little chance of Joe Cole going mental, hijacking the jet and crashing it into a load of locals. Such a better reply

    Joey Barton

Because Joe Cole chose not to travel with a SSN presenter, David Craig.
  22. I wonder how many fans left at half time.... http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/aug/29/romanian-club-beaten-31-0 Cash-strapped Romanian club thrashed 31-0 by lower-league team • Young CS Buftea team were 12-0 down at half-time • Second division club had rested most of its first team A cash-strapped Romanian second division side, CS Buftea, paid the price for fielding a side of teenagers when they were thumped 31-0 by the third-tier ACS Berceni in a Romanian cup match. Buftea celebrated promotion to the second division in May, but a team containing predominantly under-19 players were on the wrong end of an avalanche of goals in the fourth preliminary round match. Buftea, located 20km north-west of capital Bucharest, had hoped to improve after a tough first half in which they conceded 12 goals – but after half-time they let in another 19. Local media reported the loss as a record defeat in Romanian football. The victorious ACS Berceni president Stephen Stana said the experience had left him feeling uncomfortable. "I'm ashamed to tell you the score. But it's not our fault that they disregarded the competition."
