Massively impractical that though. And several weeks too late. I prepared myself for this news a while ago so am happy to go without a ticket but it's still a huge disappointment to receive such a low allocation. Plus the travel companies insistence on raising prices once the fixtures were announced. Most people booked early because it was cheaper too.

This thread is about to implode.

Fuck off man, why would he even say that? What a wanker he's turned out to be. When Liverpool dispose of him he's going to feel like such a daft twat.

So is there going to be a European N-O meet up/piss up?
-
Just been weighing up the drive to Bordeaux, 930 miles, 15 hrs in one day :-/
-
Cancel it and book Bordeaux.
-
How are people travelling to Bordeaux, I'm tempted to drive of Eurostar it across.

there will be good drinking near the ground though for those without tickets Also it will be an interesting atmosphere in the ground with loads of dogs in the stadium. I must admit like when i asked Archie he was well up for it, he reckons there's a fountain in the city where its effectively all you can drink.....for free. http://i938.photobucket.com/albums/ad223/Philly1983/f15fbcaf.jpg

Mine said Brussels when i went last year and had no problems, the site does say Any Belgian Station but i really wouldn't worry about it.

Can you book travel from Newcastle on the eurostar site? Yeah, you can book your whole trip. Can you send a link to the booking page because I can't see it on th eurostar site. Cheers. Would save some hassle if it could be done all in one. I've just been looking and its gonna be about £200 for the trains at a reasonable time. Only going up as well. Don't know what to do... just type Newcastle in the from and any belgian station in the to. http://www.eurostar.com/dynamic/_SvBoTravelFaresSelectTerm?_TMS=1346871598105&_DLG=SvBoTravelFaresSelectTerm&_LANG=UK&_AGENCY=ESTAR

Poor AC, just imagine the phone call if Liverpool recalled him in January.
-
Love watching him play. When he first joined us i found him frustrating because he always seemed to be trying to do too much, I do think that Pardew and the coaching team deserve a lot of credit for the way he plays now. Not for the skill and technique because that was always there but for the hard working attitude and discipline that he shows during matches now.

I dread to think how many people are going to be in Brugge, if Birmingham had 10k there i can see us having a similar figure. At £6 a pint we will save the Eurozone singlehandedly.

8th November

Think ill see how much money I've got left from Brugge then book Bordeaux. I'm very tempted to road trip it and drive there.
-
Why wouldn't we? No idea, the villa fan who had tweeted it said...... @GeordieVillan: I no #nufc fans arn't the friendliest towards #avfc but would like them to respect our 19th minuet applause for out captain #Pray4Petrov
-
A few people on twitter are asking for us to respect the applause for Petrov that villa fans are planning for the 19th minute.

Brugge via Eurostar booked. Paid for 4 people in one go

Actually the connection to Brugge is 60 mins. For those who are going this way, this may come in handy. http://i938.photobucket.com/albums/ad223/Philly1983/D62A06DF-1784-4D8A-865E-4D5E89984412-25250-00001A7B6EEF88B5.jpg

I'm pretty sure that is becuase it's only the Eurostar service which is specific- the onward journey is valid for any service except the ICE and Thalys services which are other international services. I've just booked a train+hotel package and it comes up with 'Brussels' but the hotel I've booked is in Bruges as part of the same deal, so I'm assuming the website books the trains correctly! With your Eurostar ticket you can get on any connecting service, doesn't matter which. I done it last year when I went to Brugge via Eurostar. It's about 30 min on the train from Brussels

Bordeaux flights from London are £99 return with BA.
-
Newcastle to London East Coast £55.60 London to Brussels Eurostar £40.50 Brussels to Brugge £free with Eurostar ticket Brussels to London Eurostar £40.50 London to Newcastle £26.80 That's what I'm looking at, that's returning on the 10th for some "sight seeing" time.

Class, what's liverpools group?

He's enthusiastic and is a big lad for his age but i'm still not convinced he'll make it as a premier league player. Exactly this, really need to progress over the next year if he is to succeed.
