  1. Why? Clean break no ligament damage? He'll be back to normal after this.
  2. Fucking hell. Prior to his leg break, he was good enough to be a Kinkladze/Kanchelskis/Di Canio/Zola/Juninho style cult hero if his attitude turned out OK. Now he's got a broken leg he is a completely unproven player who many good (not top) clubs wont consider looking at until he proves his fitness and form. He was touted as the best player to come out of france in his generation from the age of 14 tbf. Wen't to his head, he seems to have got over this now.
  3. I'm bitter about city, I think everyone is, will be interesting when these Uefa rules kick in. Although, Mike you cunting mccunterson, why did you not talk to DIC.
  4. This will show Hughtons true ability as a manager.
  5. I can't wait for "Sports Direct@Durham Prison." Will be unlucky if he goes to Durham for this type of assauly tbh. Isn't venables there and I don't mean mr 5-3-2
  6. I don't know why and this sounds odd, but I don't feel like tiote is ours, he's been class on the whole, what we've ben crying out for years but something doesn't feel right. Don't get me wrong he's class but I still sometimes think do we own this lad. It's not that I think he'll leave or he isn't good enough, just don't have that feeling that he is an NUFC player at present, seems distanced. probably the most bollocks post ever, I don't know how to describe it, I am very happy we have him as I believe he is a very good player but something doesn't feel right.
  7. Hopefully I'll make it past the warm up this time. And to Nixon you won't need duffy, you'll probably have Messi showing up as a ringer to replace the injured stu who will also rock up.
  8. Oh noes, since H&G took over they have only finished 3rd, 4th, 2nd & now the ignominy of 7th. Hellish by any standards! They had £45m of debt when H&G took over, have spent around £30m net on transfers and will have £0 debt when they are bought by NESV, and still have a squad most clubs can only dream of. Fortunately we were much luckier with Ashley who has only more than doubled the debt, got us relegated, thinned the squad to the bare bones making a £20m transfer profit, and will probably spend at least the next 5 years using any operating profit we make to pay back his debt (assuming we manage to scrape by staying in the PL for the next 5 years). Liverpool truly are the unluckiest club in the world, I'm welling up just thinking about it. I'm not saying H&G ran the club well, but they are the ones taking the biggest hit not the club itself. Liverpool were always going to be the weakest runt in the "big 4" litter to drop out once some other team got their act into gear. If it hadn't of been last year, it would have been this with the money Man City have spent, just like we were always going to struggle to stay in the top 4 once Chelsea started to get bankrolled. Got to love the old Ashley made a 20m transfer profit. The club was running at a massive loss ffs. We were fucked
  9. Has got a successful track record with the Red Sox and NASCAR too. Ashley knows how to drink a pint in a few seconds and how to sell sports goods to chavs. I know I'm just saying I find it odd, how these americans can buy a club which was valued by forbes at more than he is worth, I know they are only going to end up paying off the debt and probably get the club for nowt.
  10. This blokes got less money that Ashley/
  11. It's too early to say about campbell, Yes he was great in the past but season to season at that age can makea good player shit.
  12. I haven't seen anything like that, it looks like I'm clutching at straws. Haven't seen anything conclusive either, but generally once that oxygen mask appears you know the guy is fucked. Hope he can return and his career isn't completely ruined by this. It's not his ankle from what I've heard and that was from CH, he said tib and fib but hopefully not both or something along those lines
  13. I think they all knew it was bad and were just trying to say to him that they knew it wasn't intentional and keep his chin up. Don't think they expected hij to keep his studs up for the rest of the match though.
  14. At least Tiote is a a god and Jonas was very good today. Routledge was fucking shite again, not ability wise just fucking decisions.
  15. Is that part said with a lisp? Fuck off, the lad broke his leg playing for us. He's clearly our best player, if you think that's gay then you clearly write for the Daily Mail.
  16. One of the unluckiest match I've seen from us for a while. Well done lads, don't get down. Hope Hatem is ok but we all know he isn't. I'm sending Hatem a get well soon card to the club, I hope others do the same. I've no idea if he'll get it but it will be nice if we all send him one to know we ae thinking of him
