  1. They'll probably think tomorrow is our youth team "Smith? Nolan? Harper? Jonas? Who the f*** are these, they could have at least played the big guns like LuaLua and Tozer!" From what Hughton said wouldn't surprise me if we did see Lua Lua, I'm not convinced by him. Yes he's quick but he doesnt seem to have much else about him. Seems the only midfielders we produce nowadays are either s**** or s**** and fast like Alan o Brien. If the consensus is jonas is s*** and so are a few the rest of midfield, don't have too many qualms about giving him a go tbh. Would save big Kev from knackering himself out so quickly so he can unleash hell properly in the 87th True, give the lad a go. I hope we shit on the bastards froma great height after what they've been saying, was reading a PBoro forum as well and there fans are right cocky bastards, they think we played a strong team against them in the cup. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
  2. Yeah, because that's exactly how it works at Barcelona. I do tend to agree however that IMO the majority of supporters would make the wrong decisions about the people to put in charge to run a successful club, and we'd kneejerk our way through chairmen if they weren't unrealistically perfect in every way. Aye and go through managers like Santa gets through sellotape.
  3. You're such a card. Who'd would've thought of using an inaccurate stereotype Sky have perpetuated against there own fans? I'm just joking about that bit really, is a bit true though, most of my mates talk absoulte bollocks as does my dad, my dad thinks Nicky Butt should start for the experience for example. ONly people I hear that talk sense really are on here.

  5. Still think its a load of bollocks, how many people are going to invest their retirement money in a bloody football club, you'll never make it back unless we win the premier league or something. I certainly wouldn't. I'd like to own part of the club but with 52000 people voting you're not going to get much of a say anyway and also the general consensus amongst most of our fans is bollocks anyway, they'd probably just appoint Keegan and spend all the money on strikers.
  6. Aye, wtach out world Ancelottis gonna have to go mental and sign about 8 players
  7. Aye worth a punt, isnt he knackered as well though I don't think so, he did look decent whenever he was given a chance at Everton. I thought the reason he didnt start was due to injuries. Your correct. He is a bit unstable mentally as well. I like having nutters in the team, him and Barton would be class in the same team.

  10. Already has been [email protected] its all a ploy to let people know on the sly.
  11. If they play 1 up front, why would you want 3 Centre Backs? We haven't even got 3 centrebacks
  12. Can't believe they are banging on about when they beat us, we had our youth team out ffs. Do they not realise that?
  13. no such thing as NUSC anymore but if the NUST did somehow manage to buy the club the couldn't do a worse job than Ashley! Well it could, as without ashleys money we'd be in administration. Where are NUST gonna find 20m per season. No idea, maybe they will reveal that next week when they launch there bid to buy the club. Did you see their Financial Expert? She was a woman who seemed like her main job was working in a school canteen, they won't even have thought of that. They wont even raise the money, god knows where they got 20m of pledges from. Probably just asking people in the street. "Can I ask you if you would like to pledge a sum of money in order to purchase NUFC" "Yes, I'll pledge 10m pounds."
  14. Probs ex Sheff Utd fans who started supporting them when they realised Sheff U are shit.

  16. Make the most of it, if we go up we'll disappear off the TV for another season. I doubt that like. f***ing hate Monday night games. It's an extension of the weekend and makes monday at work more bearable...Tuesday's generally a shitter though, nobody enjoys being hungover on a Tuesday. It sets me up all wrong for the week, I hate doing things on Monday nights. I like to relax and enjoy the fact that I've made it through Monday. Tuesdays are my least favourite day anyway so + hangover = Don't stop drinking till Wednesday then.
  17. Don't, I went once it it was like watching a Badger playing scrabble. Enjoyed the chants though "We're shit, and we know we are"
  18. I'd love to see that reporter's face if somebody went through George Boyd early on in the game and he had to be taken off. Who is this George Boyd? Sounds like they reckon someones cloned Pele and Called him george
  19. I'm actually quite positive about our finances if we go up. Wage bill will be around 35M which is respectable. Yes but the squad costing us around £35 million is nowhere near good enough for the Premiership. Nobody is arguing that. Its a lot better base than £70m wagebill for players who arent good enough though isnt it? Yep, tbh if we got taken over this summer it would be a great time if we go up. Bring in a decent manager, give him money to spend without oversterching again..... I live in a fantasy world though

  21. I wonder if Hughtons already been to him and said he needs these, sounds like it as thats basically what we are missing.
  22. We'd be better using Ranger as target man allowing Carroll to make runs into the box, I know he's not the quickest but if we can play it to ranger, get the midfield to support him, fire in a cross thatll be our best method of scoring imo.
  23. Of course he is planning to stay longer, I think he thinks that if he gets us promoted we'll see that as a positive sign and that he's learned from his mistakes. I don't think he ever wanted to sell us unless he got a ridiculous price.
