  1. where do you play ben arfa ? surely he's better pushed further up but not as a tsriker ? In the Cazorla/Walcott role coming from the right because arsenal have that lack of mobility in the middle (which we have when tiote plays). There's many problems with Tiote. A lack of mobility is not one of them. it's not ? he's mobile when they have, he's statuesque when we have it. it also drags cabaye further back to get the ball off the defenders as the oppo want us to give it tiote. Nah not really. He's meant to be a DM, where do you want him to run? He often makes the most passes for us when he plays and he always shows for the ball. His issue is not moving the ball quickly enough. Pressuring Tiote into mistakes like Stottie said - is very effective for opponent. There's nothing wrong with having 2 CM's sitting pretty deep. The problem is that we don't have another midfielder or forward that wants to come deep and get the ball to link it up. When you have 2 strikers that want to run away from the ball theres nothing wrong with it, esxpet the playing staff we have don't really lend themselves to it as much as a mobile 4-3-3. Who else plays a genuine 4-3-3? With 3 strikers?
  2. I've called him a tosser from when he lied about not knowing about the job while Hughton was still here when Golfmag had already told us Pardew had been contacted. He's been a tosser from day one. Would of over looked it if he'd any good at his job but he hasn't been. Aye, I just don't know how anyone can hold so much hatred against Kinnear yet would still offer a testicle for Pardew to stay. (I'm obviously not on about you here ) Neither of them should be at the club, neither have any self respect, and neither will leave. Solidarity!

  4. He's just doing what he's told man. You cannot blame him for that, can you? He tries to come across as an old school 'football man' and wilfully lies to the fans of the club. He's a total tosser.

    Alan Pardew

He doesn't HAVE to do anything. He doesn't have to lend his name to that and he doesn't have to accept it. He can walk at any time or break ranks. We aren't in a good position, we are 2/3 injuries away from being f***ed. Jesus Christ man Walk and just let JFK win? Actaully you are happy for JFK to come in aren't you because things can't get any worse apparently. Our squad can barely get any better according to you, what with being in a better position than most sides out there and all.

    Alan Pardew

If it said he's a wanker. If he didn't he should say so. Why would he want to be misrepresented? He's the one who has to take the flak. How is our postion good compared to most of the league? Hasn't looked like it for the past 45 games or so. You're on the verge of the vapours, man.
  7. It's not a good squad then is it? We've played 20 minutes of good football out of 360 so far this season and we've just watched everyone of the competition improve their squads.
  8. It was a f**king embarrassment of a window. What a total lack of any sporting ambition whatsoever. A complete a total lack of ANY desire to improve things on the pitch. It is literally the LAST priority to the owner and the dozy prick he's put in charge. So, the first thing we as fans look for, THE FOOTBALL, is the very last thing that matters to the owner. What a sorry state of affairs for NUFC.
  9. Type that sentence out some other way, can't actually make out what you're saying.
  10. The thing is it's so blatantly obvious what was happening as we've seen it before, so it's not a far stretch for people to assume it's happening again. I guess so, easier to say now. Then again, we have made some good signings as well. We don't know if Kemen will be any good yet!
  11. I disagree, naturally when defending the forwards have to drop in a bit aswell, it's not like they'll stand on the half way line waiting for us to get the ball back. Hope you're right but i doubt it will work, unfortunately. seems like pardew agrees with you mind..........................surely that must make you think I'm right ? Knots by R.D. Laing!!!!!!

  13. It will be stretched and over run (imo). No where enough discipline to keep close as a unit. Will be spread out all over the place with Sissoko and Anita covering the wings and Cabaye lunging in.
  14. do we need that......... krul debuchy colo mapou santon sissoko cabaye anita ben arfa cisse remy none of our midfielders excpet tiote seem to have midfield 4 as their natural game, same goes for ben arfa. even jonas would now seem best suited to a middle 3. we even have the attacking full backs for it. movement is the key from those middle 3 (watch anita, constant movement) and ben arfa/remy can pull wide leaqving gaps for the midfield to hopefully exploit. Pards likes 4-4-2 in case no one has noticed. Also, a genuine 4-3-3 with that midfield is asking for trouble unless we've had to throw caution to the wind and go for it.
  15. We have no one who can play LW. No one. Hardly a squad good enough without that is it?

    Sunderland

True, he did! I guess my defence is that they are far, far closer to being abysmal than being perfect. But, point taken.

    Sunderland

We all know our "board" is considerably less than perfect, but our transfer policy over the last few years looks incredibly sane and efficient in comparison to Sunderland's shambolic approach. 'less than perfect' Yeah, just a tad short of perfect they are. Aye.
  18. If we don't sign anyone today it will show just what a dishonest tosser this bloke is tbh. I'm sure he's more than aware that he's been called a w@nker, a drunk, a mouthpiece, etc. But this will just bear him out as a wilful liar. Which i think is far more damning.
  19. :weep: Hate being called a mug i do Keep throwing money at them so they can keep taking the p*ss? You are, ask Pardew for a wave too Roger's doing an Omar 12 gauge primed, stalking around the place, whistling, and calling Marlo Dope Direct's men out!! Go get em, Roger!

    Hatem Ben Arfa

I love the guy but i thought he was pretty frustrating in the 1st half. Plenty of times he should have played it early to Debuchey who's made a good run and would have put in an early cross but HBA held onto it, twisted and turned and it all came to nowt. Everyone looked better when Remy came on though. Everyone!
  21. Lotus

    Papiss Cissé

Remy in particular had huge effect on Cisse's game. I said at the time it was like 2 substitutes in 1.
  22. He plays like he's been doped
  23. Got caught square once. Otherwise covered his side pretty well. Wish we'd make more use of his overlapping runs because he can actually cross!
