N'Zogbia will be causing trouble at Villa in an attempt to force through his dream move to Sunderland.
-
Whatever people think of him it looks like he'll be playing in quite a few games, at least until Williamson is fit. I'm sure he'll play better with support rather than criticism.
-
Possibly but I think Enrique had said he was fit to play.
-
Pardew hasn't rushed anyone back from an injury during his time at NUFC.
-
I was at the game but didn't see what actually caused the injury. Was it a tackle or did it just happen with no one else involved?

Norwich vs Newcastle - 10/12/11 - Pre Match Thread

Can Santon not play at CB? According to http://www.nufc.co.uk/page/Teams/PlayerProfiles Perch is 5ft 11ins so we need some height at CB along side him. Santon is 6ft 1.5ins. I'd not play Ben Arfa off Ba again. Ba is better playing off Best. Ben Arfa should go to the wing. -
A few times today Ben Arfa got the ball, we had a potential break on and then instead of going direct toward the goal or doing a quick pass to Ba, he instead tried to wriggle past 3 Chelsea players. He needs to use his pace more (which I assume he's still got). Pardew has said previously that Ben Arfa will play the number 10 role as he doesn't like playing on the wing. From what I've seen, Ba and Best works better than Ba and Ben Arfa. Give the wing a try Ben Arfa.

Chelsea will still be a big test. St James' tends to get fired up for games against Chelsea though which should help. -
Sods law he'll get back to full fitness in time to leave for the ANC. http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php They aren't as accurate as they used to be. They don't even have Williamson on our injured list.

I hope Coloccini is fully fit for Saturday. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/newcastle-united/nufc-news/2011/11/30/boss-says-nufc-success-down-to-coloccini-72703-29867142/ -
Yes Joey, that's the reason Alan Smith doesn't get in the team.

Shit luck to concede the goal the way we did. Good luck to win the penalty but it still had to be scored and it was. Man U will moan about the Ref but every tackle or word from our players and it was a booking. Man U players crowded the Ref after awarding the penalty and at the end of the game. Well done NUFC!
-
What? This is not a Carling Cup match. With Best, Obertan, Tiote, Marveaux and Williamson all out injured it's not surprising if our bench doesn't look very strong.

Virgin Money won't own Northern Rock Plc until the first of January 2012. There is no way the rebranding will occur on the same day. It will take months. For example, Alliance and Leicester branches didn't instantly change into Santander following their takeover.
-
Last week an official statement was put on the Northern Rock intranet site (as in the internal, company only internet site and not the external internet website) explaining that they had decided to end their sponsorship of NUFC. They exercised an option which allowed them to do this. They said they talked to NUFC in May 2011 about it. It was Northern Rock's decision. People who work for Northern Rock can read the statement. Anyway, if Northern Rock is sold over the next year, which is a possibility, it could well be renamed by whoever buys it (e.g. Virgin Money) so all the shirts could have ended up with a sponsor that doesn't exist any more.
