Well it was built on where they used to hang people, hence the Gallowgate.

I'd rather a Yes or No. If you don't care, don't vote.

Some fans have suggested that they want NUFC to be relegated as it will 'hurt' Mike Ashley. Other fans have suggested NUFC being relegated will 'hurt' the fans a lot more than it will 'hurt' Mike Ashley. Simple question. Do you want NUFC to be relegated?
-
First choice defenders? They're our only choice defenders. We don't have the squad depth for second choice defenders. Our 4th choice centre back, Mike Williamson is usually our 1st choice.
-
Is this the excuse if NUFC get relegated? The fans didn't back us.
-
I don't want us to be relegated but we will be.
-
I'm beginning to think Mike Ashley bet big when the odds were 150 to 1 on Newcastle getting relegated.
-
Last time Mike Ashley got us relegated he had the cheek to complain that he had to put in £25m of his own money to cover the costs. You own the club and it was your decisions that got us relegated! He'll go into full on cost cutting mode again (even more than he already does). Can you imagine the state of our squad next season if we're relegated? Tim Krul - Will be sold and he'd demand to leave anyway. Fabricio Coloccini - Last year of contract. NUFC will want him off the wage bill. Ryan Taylor - Out of contract. Mike Williamson - Last year of contract. Moussa Sissoko - Will be sold and he'd demand to leave anyway. Vurnon Anita - 2 years to run on his contract. We'll be stuck with him. Papiss Demba Cissé - Will be sold and he'd demand to leave anyway. Siem De Jong - I can't see him wanting to play in the Championship. Yoan Gouffran - 2 years to run on his contract. We'll be stuck with him. Jack Colback - Will he want to stay? Could be sold for 100% profit. Rolando Aarons - Could be sold if he ever gets fit. Ayoze Perez - Will he want to stay? Jonas Gutierrez - Out of Contract. Massadio Haidara - He'd probably stay. Remy Cabella - Will he want to stay? He'd be sold at a huge loss. Rob Elliot - 1 year left on his contract. Daryl Janmaat - Will be sold and he'd demand to leave anyway. Haris Vučkić - Could be handy in the Championship if his Rangers form translates. Cheick Tiote - Will be sold and he'd demand to leave anyway. Gabriel Obertan - 1 year left on his contract. He'll stay as we're stuck with him. Steven Taylor - 1 year left on his contract. He'll probably stay. He's always injured so which club would buy him? Sammy Ameobi - Out of contract. He'd be mad to stay if he can get a move to West Brom, Real Sociedad, etc. Emmanuel Riviere - I wonder if he'll be able to score goals in the Championship? Mehdi Abeid - 1 year left on his contract. He'll probably stay. Adam Armstrong - Carver suggested loaning him out to a Championship club. He'll probably get to learn his trade at NUFC. Paul Dummett - He'll probably stay. Karl Darlow - Welcome to the club. 1st choice goal keeper? Jamaal Lascelles - Welcome to the club. Sylvain Marveaux - 1 year left on his contract. He'll probably be sold if a buyer can be found. As for who will be manager, it's terrifying to wonder who they'd appoint.

Good article: - http://www.true-faith.co.uk/thru-black-white-eyes-you-dont-know-what-your-doing-3may15/

Is this a reverse hex you are trying or something? We only need 1 win? We haven't looked like winning a point for 8 games and our 'manager' has slagged off most of our players in public. The only way Nufc aren't getting relegated is if the teams below us don't win any points. They are fighting for their lives. Our team gave up completely in February.
-
The thing is, NUFC are worth less than 10% of Mike Ashley's total worth. He'll be mildly annoyed by relegation if that. If he was that scared of relegation maybe he'd have done more to stop it. If I didn't know any better I'd think he was trying to get us relegated on purpose. A mackem owning the club would struggle to do a worse job. He gambles the £100m plus worth of being in the Premiership by weakening an already weak squad, he doesn't appoint a manager, he appoints people to roles way above their skill level, he treats his customers with utter contempt, etc, etc. All to save a few million when over a £100m is at stake. The guy is a moron when it comes to running a football club.
-
To be honest I haven't watched them and could only name a few of their players. It's more the fact that Nufc are the worst of the worst. I'd be amazed if another team was bad enough to give us any points.
-
Don't get me wrong, QPR are shit but their team is mainly made up of players who will be there next season. They'll want to go out at home with a win. Who better to do that against than our lot? With most of our defence banned or injured we won't be scoring any points.
-
I really don't see it. If QPR are relegated when we play them they'll play without fear. They'll beat us with ease. If by some miracle we pick up any more points we'll probably get relegated on goal difference to add insult to injury.
-
We're done. The club is rotten to the core. Well done Mike Ashley, you've done the impossible and made the people of Newcastle hate football.
-
He's only out of our league because Mike Ashley won't even bother himself. It is true that NUFC in the past would have gone for him. Klopp supposedly wants to come to the Premiership. The big clubs aren't changing manager. Mike Ashley has the power and money to make an attractive proposal to Klopp, it's just that he won't.
-
I don't see the problem with that article. It's true that Jurgen Klopp is probably the best available manager out there and it's also true that Mike Ashley won't even try to employ him. That's the point of the article. Getting Jurgen Klopp as the manager would reinvigorate the fans and club. It's not like NUFC can't afford him, it's just they won't. He could be given the £34m in the bank to spend and you are actually allowed to make a loss (although that could be made up by finishing higher up the league and having Klopp as manager would massively increase NUFC's profile so we'd be shown more on TV) so NUFC could spend more. Mike Ashley supposedly likes to gamble but he'd rather play safe with someone like McLaren than 'gamble' on a big character like Klopp. Imagine all that lovely exposure for 'SD' if we got Klopp and actually played good football and finished higher up the league. Anyway, we have to avoid getting relegated first.
-
I knew something was up when they'd never mentioned him returning even though he was due back in one game.
-
Well you can't be talking about Cisse. He hasn't looked fully fit all season. Apparently he was having screws removed from his knee which were put in during the last operation. If screws were put in, presumably they knew they would have to be removed at some point unless they were supposed to be permanent.
-
If they draw then beat us they'll go above us on goal difference. I'd rather they lost tonight as we can't rely on our team to get anything against them.
-
I don't think the club bargained for that we lose all those games and we would be safe by then. We need him but he will probably be out for the season. That's what I'm thinking. They've been very quiet about him considering he's due back in one game. He hasn't been mentioned as returning where as Aarons, Dummett and De Jong have been.
-
I read that Cissé took advantage of his ban to have another operation on his knee. Has he been in any of the training photos for a while? I wonder if he'll be fit when his ban ends? His ban ends after the Leicester game.
-
If NUFC aren't relegated this season it will be interesting to see Mike Ashley's "Operation Lessons Learned" spring into action. We'll get to see if NUFC quickly appoint a decent manager and buy enough decent players up to the task. I wouldn't bet on it happening.
-
You could replace "he" (Carver) with "they" (the team). Our team can't win or draw 1 game out of 7. Well yeah but had we of got Sherwood in on a temp basis, or anyone remotely decent we wouldn't have lost 7 in a row. IO'm not excusing the team but its clear Carver is horribly out of his depth I agree. If Mike Ashley had any sense he'd bring in an experienced, decent manager for the last 4 games to try to save his investment (as he will see it). If we get relegated he can hardly say he did everything to stop it, on the contrary, it seems he's done nothing to stop it.
