  1. I guess the Premier League won't be too happy with Mike Ashley damaging their 'brand' by turning NUFC in to s*** and stinking up the league: - http://www.nufc.com/
  2. No thanks. His record is not impressive. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Guidetti

    John Carver

Carver should 100% not be managing NUFC however, if someone else was they'd still have awful options to select from. For example, Sammy Ameobi, Gouffran and Obertan are the choices for the wings. It's like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic choosing who to play out of most of our squad.
  4. I started a new job the day after the last derby. My new manager is a Mackem. He knew I was a Newcastle supporter from a meeting we had a few weeks earlier. I'd mentioned that both teams were awful. Sunderland always battle to finish around 16th and Newcastle give up before Xmas. On my first day I found out that he'd set up my initial password as "cry-fan". Sad Mackem b******. It's him that should be crying. NUFC vs SAFC truly is the perfect example of two bald men fighting over a comb. Sunderland seem happy to be awful as long as the 'mags' are bad too.
  5. It will be even funnier if Sunderland get relegated due to NUFC giving the points to Sunderland's relegation rivals.
  6. Someone walked past SJP last night and noticed all the photographs in the skip and posted photos on twitter. Looks like the Chronicle has picked up on it. Even if you ignored what the pictures were of, the actual frames could have been reused. To bin them is a ridiculous waste. Whoever binned them would have known plenty of fans would have happily had them.
  7. It's not convenient to Rolando Aarons or NUFC. Rolando Aarons himself shot down the last conspiracy theory about him not really being injured. If he wasn't injured he'd be shouting it from the roof tops if the club said he was when he wasn't (especially if he's negotiating for a new contract).
  8. I don't think we'll be seeing any more stories in the media of Chelsea and the like being interested until well in to next season now (if he gets fit for next season).
  9. No real loss (apart from we have no replacement) as Sissoko has been shit for months.
  10. Just shows you how dead Premiership football is now. The Liverpool fans can't even raise themselves to sing when they are winning.
  11. What a surprise, someone who rarely scores getting a goal against us.
  12. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/32049312 Fuck off BBC you ignorant bastards. £52 for an away game with a restrictive view on a Monday night for a game on Sky.
  13. Do all Premier League grounds have terrible atmospheres these days?
  14. The refs love kicking us even though we are already down on the ground not moving.
  15. R.Taylor, Gutierrez and Sammy Ameobi were all in the starting 11. All 3 of them are out of contract in the Summer. They are highly unlikely to be offered new contracts (unless we get relegated as I guess R.Taylor and Sammy Ameobi would be OK in the Championship). So basically NUFC are starting games with 3 players they don't think are worth offering new contracts to. Sissoko must love it at NUFC because he certainly hasn't been trying to attract a new club to come in for him with his performances. He's been generally awful for months. Reading yesterday's starting 11 and bench, it's striking just how little quality there is: - Krul, R.Taylor, Janmaat, Williamson, Colback, Sissoko, Gutierrez, Gouffran (Riviere 58), Ameobi (Armstrong 87), Cabella, Perez. Subs n/u: Elliot, Anita, Abeid, Kemen, Obertan.
  16. E - I - E - I - O It's down the Premier League we go. Hopefully 35 points will be enough for NUFC to stay up.
  17. What is the point in having a 3rd kit (I could have ended this question there) that is predominately white and black? On the rare occasions that NUFC play a team in similar colours/stripes why don't we have a 2nd kit which is a huge contrast to black and white? We play in black and white or grey. All the colours of the rainbow. Why not go back to having a blue, yellow or green 2nd shirt? At least they would stand out. http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Newcastle_United/Newcastle_United-change-kits.html
  18. The air show is good if you are interested in aviation. Some of you are talking like you wouldn't even look up if a Eurofighter went over your head with its afterburners on. Planes taking off and landing at Newcastle airport are not doing air show manoeuvres. It's a bit "I'll never wear anything Red/I'll never eat Sugar Puffs" to say it is s***. It's the only reason I've ever been to Sunderland in the last couple of years. Sunderland is s*** but some of the things that happen there are good.
  19. It's that time again. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/full-list-who-newcastle-united-8956158
  20. I'm sure I read a £6m transfer figure for Rivière (I don't know why NUFC would have paid £6m for Rivière. Monaco are one of the richest clubs in the world so I doubt they'd have been fighting for every penny. Also, were NUFC competing against any other clubs to sign Rivière?). £6m for Rivière makes Gomis on a free (not including £2m signing on fee + bigger wages) look the better bet (he has started to find the net for Swansea). Gomis must have been considered too old. Ashley would rather gamble on the younger Rivière.
  21. Is Rivière counted as a Graham Carr recommendation? I guess so as he is our chief scout. To be fair to Graham Carr, when he identifies players we don't know where on Carr's list they are. Rivière could have been the 5th choice striker on Carr's list.
  22. Hard to see where Rangers will get the money from, though. 'Skint' doesn't cover it. I didn't mean Rangers might buy him. An English league 1 team or a similar level league team may be able to scrape some money together for him. I meant we may actually get paid for him rather than releasing him on a free.
  23. NUFC may actually be able to sell him in the Summer.
