I think we're marginally more likely to keep players with Pardew than without him. Shortcomings nonwithstanding, at the very least they seem to like him and are willing to play for him.

I really think tonight's result was much more down to certain players letting the team down than Pardew's tactics. Tiote was absolutely awful, Cisse and Ba looked thick as mince and ball watch when we're in possession. We knocked it about well but were let down partly by poor decision making and partly an absence of luck. Pardew must take blame for 3 shite subs though, timing and personnel was all wrong. I agree 100% with this. Style of play was much more positive. Individual performances were disgusting.

Even if we only get 3 points until the new year we're still (just barely) on pace for survival and that's after suffering what will probably be our worst run of the season. The only realistic chance of us getting relegated at this point is if we sack Pardew and appoint a Kinnear-equivalent.

Got to completely disagree on this, mental idea. What would be the downside? I genuinely don't see one. Besides, it would infinitesimaly increase the chance of us seeing NUFC in the Champions League again during our lifetime.

Always seemed silly to me how the Europa League/UEFA Cup winners aren't offered a Champions League place for the next season. They're actual "champions" and that would just about single-handedly make everyone take this competition much more seriously.
