  1. We should respond to all our emails with rage comic faces tbf. Knowing Mike Ashley, this is probably what he already does.
  2. If you're going to make depressing statements like this at least have the common decency to add "I'll do ... if..." and put yourself in Neil's sig.
  3. Aye, it's about time we put an end to 100+ years of hurt, all my Newcastle United supporting life has been haunted by that fatal day in 1908. What sort of relevance does a score from a time where teams probably played with something like eight forwards and two defenders have anyway.
  4. Unfortunately the betting section at www.pedantic.com is still under construction.
  5. The same method through which all forum members are contractually obligated to fully back-up and verify every passing statement they make in this venue, of course.
  6. Mentioned this on the other thread, but Ryder blatantly 100% wrote that after seeing my posts on here.
  7. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/newcastle-united/nufc-news/2011/08/15/nufc-striker-search-goes-on-after-park-snub-72703-29236731/ How much do you want to bet that Ryder wrote this after seeing my posts here?
  8. I've had plenty of Ligue 1 fans tell me that he's a good player that could do well at this level, so we'll wait and see I suppose.
  9. £8m seems a lot to me like. 8m Euro so closer to 5~6m pounds. Also, we're desperate. According to this conversion, it'd be nearer £7m http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert/?Amount=8000000&From=EUR&To=GBP Man, what the hell happened to your currency value?
  10. Just realized that if Shola gets called up for Nigeria, we're looking at Loven and Best for the whole month of January

  12. Not too dissimilar to the Carroll siuation really is it? Brilliant season last year by the looks of things and I doubt he's on that much so can't blame him for wanting a payrise or new club. Yeah, eerily similar really. Stats seem to indicate that he wasn't up to much at Le Mans and Sochaux were the ones who gave him his big break. I can understand why they'd be majorly pissed off, but as long as it benefits us who cares I suppose.
  13. Negatives: 1. He's our fourth-choice striker target from the French league. 2. Two strikers gone during the ACN 3. Only had 1 good season, unsure if he's any good. Positives: NEW SIGNING
  14. If we haven't got an attacking threat, Sunderland without Gyan have got even less. I'm feeling good about this.
  15. Seems a bit underhanded that he's complaining about not getting a pay rise despite only having been there for a year. Another greedy cunt then, should fit right in
  16. Seems robust but very agile and tricky at the same time from the video snippets. Malian international, so the Black Power should be strong in this one as well
  17. Caught Offside? Awesome. Iron-clad confirmation that Tiote isn't leaving.
  18. The fact you don't rate him is arguably a good sign. If the "Joke Enrique" thread was any indication, he'll be sold to Liverpool in a couple years.
  19. I think he's just not available for any price.

    Ryan Taylor

I'm happy for him to stick around. He's terrible, but he's emergency cover for a variety of positions and everyone needs that kind of player. Plus, he's funny as hell.
  21. I see. Well, here's hoping he changes his mind then.
  22. Isn't Erdinc just another big dude though? Doesn't seem to be a lot of options if we're looking for someone with mobility.
  23. I'll be honest and say that I don't think I could name a striker who's fast, skillful, and available.

    Alan Pardew

We needed two strikers on the bench, he's not a striker. I'm confident he'll get a few chances over the course of the season
