Ugh. Retards. Suck all the joy out of everything
-
Cunt. .... Just kidding. RIP, dying young is terrible for anybody.
-
Maybe. He's our captain now since Park Jisung retired and the second-biggest name in Korean football. If any player could generate those mythical "Asian shirt sales," it would probably be him. NUFC are already the fourth-most supported Premiership club in this country though
-
If you were a multi-million pound footballer, would you want to be lugging around a rifle in some god-forsaken corner of the Korean wilderness for two years at age 35, being commanded by kids literally half your age?
-
Yeah. [desperate] Anyway, given that we're desperate for a striker and he's desperate for a club and wouldn't be too expensive... Surely somebody somewhere has to be thinking about this? [/desperate]
-
He'd probably be crucified in public opinion over here and barred from playing from the national team. Don't think he'd want to be unable to ever return home and become hated by his people.
-
They're basically doomed if they keep doing what they do, don't think it's an unreasonable idea for them try to adopt a niche by going rogue against the club turning their sports section into a representative for the "voice of the fans." In some ways it could be seen as a merging of local press and fanzines, two forms of media that are both on borrowed time. There's really no reason for "local" press to exist anymore in the twenty-first century aside from sentimental purposes.

Whats the deal with his military service?
-
Park Chu-Young still hasn't found a new club and is desperate for a move. Hasn't linked up with the Monaco squad and is training personally back in Korea at our national team club house. Seems like a no-brainer at this point. The military service thing is a pain in the ass but don't know why nobody seems to be willing to just hand him a three-year contract.

I even got to update a thread title. I feel so special

isn't black. Black is
-
Would like to sign him. First time we'll actually sign a player for whom I started the transfer rumor thread
-
Lee Young-Pyo is available. Free.

City ruins the careers of so many players. 1. Get there 2. Get your ridiculous long-term contract. 3. Fall out of favor 4. Sit on the bench, deteriorate 5. Fail to move anywhere because others can't match your wages 6. Career suicide. How good would Johnson be if he'd been playing regular football? Couple more years of this and he'll be liable to go the SWP route.

He could start by not saying stuff instead of making promises he can't keep. Theres a reason you never get a real answer from Hughton. Yes, lack of communication is always well appreciated by our fans. Hughton did it perfectly. No need to talk about stuff he didn't know/wasn't told and didn't give the press a stick to hit us with. I'm close to putting Pardew up there with Kinnear in terms of talking absolute nonsense. He's probably above Kinnear tbh. JK at least seemed to had some balls when it came to bringing in his own transfer targets (as s*** as they have been). Are you serious? The winter of '09 was just about the most bullshit-rich transfer window I've ever experienced in my life. Who needs tabloids when your lunatic manager is dropping multiple cryptic and insubstantial links every press conference.

The whole "pick a side" thing doesn't sit well with me. Lots of people can be positive about some things and negative about others depending on the circumstances. I'm actually not including myself when I say that anymore given my recent descent into 100% certified negative depression.
-
Aye, because we've never, ever signed a player with quality under Ashley. This transfer window has been a huge disappointment to say the least but some of the hyperbole following the Barton fallout has been absolutely laughable. It is hyperbole of course, but I think we do have to consider the possibility that the recent turmoil may have made us less attractive to a lot of players. All speculation of course but it might even be what broke down the Erdinc deal.
-
I resolved to stay away from Football for a while last night because I felt myself being swept up by a whole boatload of irrational negativity. After sleeping on it, I've decided I don't give a shit. I am now back on a full-on manic depressive doom-monger mode the likes of which I haven't been in since Hughton was sacked. It's so much easier than trying to keep an ember of hope and optimism alive Eight months later, basically right back where I started
-
We wouldn't get anyone, we would effectively be a dead club. No one would manage us Nah, there's always he-who-must-not-be-named waiting in the wings.
-
I give up. Going to stop following the news/posting in football for my sanity's sake until Arsenal.
-
which is similar to what I said basically. I'm glad we agree then
-
We'll replace enrique. Of that I have no doubt. What's more questionable is whether we'll like who we get.
-
Well, one thing's for sure: Willie McKay must be having the time of his f***ing life.
-
Stoke are looking for a winger and he would fit them perfectly.
-
Perhaps Barton moved the goalposts after Carroll was sold. Not hard to imagine.
