It'll also be funny if they expect to be invited to the next meeting after this writeup -
NUSC write up of Llambias attendance at the Supporters Panel meeting

As far as I can tell, Llambias and NUSC were made for each other. Must be like looking at a mirror. -
If we are relegated, Souness will have been one of the main culprits despite the fact that he is now almost 5 years removed from the club.

It's really hard to trust management that thinks Shola Ameobi is a good striker and Joe Kinnear is a good football manager.
-
Jenas starts for England. Lets not go down the international so must therefore be a top player route. He may start for Argentina but he doesn't STAR for them... pretty much how he plays for us. he starts but doesn't shine. Unless you're one of those fans who looks at his work rate and his trickery on the ball to evade markers as shininge xamples of outstanding play and contribution. I don't, I value my players being able to do good things on the ball in key areas which Jonas struggles with and its starting to effect the team. Jenas would start every single week for us if he was here.
-
Guys, he starts for Argentina. To be blunt, do you think we have any remote chance of getting anybody better for the foreseeable future?
-
If he can't cross the ball, hit the target, provide a goal threat or get his passing right then how is he not a problem? He isn't the biggest problem, not by far, but in attacking sense if your wide man can't cross, shoot or pass too well, then he's basically useless as a goal threat. But he works hard and does these fancy little tricks to evade a player at the half-way line. Did just fine picking out Guiza with his passes at Mallorca. He has decent floor-passing ability running in from deep, but it's completely useless when he has to work with zero central midfield support and zero intelligent strikers. All he can do is run into blind allies.
-
Nah, doesn't really do that either
-
It's absolutely critical that we leapfrog ahead of Hull since they're also in freefall. Would be ironic if despite all the hoopla early in the season, Hull, Stoke, and West Brom go straight back down. Not looking entirely unlikely right now either.
-
Hadn't thought of it that way. Watching it now
-
blatantly off the pace today, wasn't disappointed to see him get off the pitch because imo he was just as bad as Shola. For our sake I pray that he gets back to form quickly.
-
That's my patience with him done. How can a "local lad" so blatantly not give a shit when our Prem survival hangs in the ballance?
-
Enough with stand-ins, just make the permanent appointment for God's sake. How hard can it be?
-
Either they just don't care anymore or they're the most shockingly inept football management team in the history of the Premiership. I don't know which possibility frightens me more.
-
Can we at least have the common decency to concede to someone other than fucking Ronaldo?
-
flattered to deceive today. His runs are certainly an asset but he's wasting as much chances as Ameobi out there. Of course, it would help if he had an actual central midfield to back him up like..
-
I remember full well what happened the last two times I watched a Man U game against my better judgment. We're fucked.
-
We need a f***ing goddamn manager. Why is this so hard to understand.
-
Possibly the most uninspiring 90 minutes I've ever been subject to. Four points from the last two matches and the reality that we've got some s*** players, s*** tactics, and no f***ing manager felt distant for just a moment there. Hello there again relegation fears! I've missed you
-
Ah, we're shit. And isn't that the most blatant handball in the history of football
-
We've been purposeful but wasteful, and I think not taking our chances may come back to haunt us. Think Carroll should come on... The thought of him getting delivery from Raylor is intriguing indeed. The defensive unit is looking pretty shaky and Bolton have caught us with our pants down more than once, but we've carried more attacking initiative and hopefully we'll continue to do so in the second half. We seem to a bit reliant on our wingers going forward because we've got absolutely nothing worth mentioning in the center of the park, but I'm used to that at this point so I guess I'm not really bothered. PS. Alright, I'm convinced now. Despite spending over half his life playing professional football, Shola Ameobi still doesn't understand the offside rule.

"What the fuck?" is really the only appropriate response to a story like this. Wonder if the same lads that made up the Riquleme story are responsible for this one.

The Newcastle United Transfer Thread: D-Day [Spoiler: Not Much Happens]
oldtype replied to LooneyToonArmy's topic in Football
We should be giving him a go. Not sure if we want another mega-wage striker with personality issues on the club's books. -

Have to say, the interaction between this and the British "special status" is interesting to say the least. The thought of Welsh, Scottish and N. Irish players suddenly becoming "foreign" I suppose that might actually breathe some life back into their "domestic" leagues
