I see a lot of 2002 Korea in this US team. Not particularly good at football but well-drilled, well-coached, and want it more than everybody else. Think the biggest test might actually come against an opponent where they think they're not the underdog. ex) Algeria

Kim Shin-Wook starting up front instead of Park. Should make it more entertaining at least. Won more headers in one game than any other player in the WC during just 30 minutes of play against Algeria

I mean, thank you, but given our past two performances there are barely any Koreans supporting the team anymore. Tbf, it's entirely because I'd rather face Algeria than Belgium. Just based off these group games, Algeria are better

I'd support the US if I didn't live here, but I just really don't think I could handle people being happy at work while expressing feigned and polite concern about my well-being. Isn't this perfectly human?

Getting eliminated is such a sad, melancholy feeling even when you know your team was never likely to go very far. I have to admit I was hoping the US wouldn't win tonight. Don't think I could handle people being elated around me at work tomorrow

It's a rebuilding year for Korea, Japan's best players are out of form. Iran and Australia have never done anything at this level
