This is really encouraging news and hopefully the beginning of getting the whole thing thrown out.

Forest fans....."No thanks, don't want him" https://www.forestforum.co.uk/index.php?threads/jonjo-shelvey.51034/page-3 Sorry lads n lasses, seems like your getting him. Delighted to see the back of him, personally.

The fleece would be fine. It’s the Air Max 95s he needs to get in the sea for.
-
We definitely need to take Rigg off them, but then should loan him back out. But we need to get him now or we will be giving them £30m+ for him in 3 years time.
-
Aye we need to get him bought. Him and his Dad are NUFC fans but his brother supports Sunlun. Interesting dynamic.

It's one of the biggest and most active football forums on the internet. Why would it not be an accurate representation of SAFC's support?

1) Seeing a young Paul Gascoigne run rings around seasoned midfield pros like Paul McGrath - 1987. Gazza in his fearless young pomp was an incredible sight to see. 2) David Kelly SJP goal v Portsmouth - 1992. On of the most important goals scored in NUFC’s entire history. 3) David Kelly away goal v Grimsby - 1993. Sealing promotion to the PL with about 10000 Geordies down there. 4) Andy Cole SJP hat-trick v Leicester -1993. All of SJP singing the Andy Cole song. 5) 3-1 away win v Oldham - 1993. Sky Sports officially crown us as “The Entertainers”. 6) Andy Cole SJP hat-trick v Liverpool - 1993. Running the Scousers ragged and further cementing our new-found status as the team to watch in the PL. 7) 2-0 away win at Liverpool - 1994. The last ever game in front of the old Kop….and humbling them in it. 8) 5-0 away win at Antwerp - 1994. Back in Europe for the first time in decades and doing it in style. 9) Seeing David Ginola terrorize defences in his first half-season of the PL - 1995. Still the most exciting player I have seen at NUFC when at his peak. 10) Phillipe Albert goal in the 5-0 against Man U - 1996. Almost the peak moment of 90s NUFC. 11) Tino Asprilla hat-trick v Barcelona - 1997. THE peak moment of 90s NUFC. 12) 4-3 SJP win v Man U - 2001. Keane sent off and his phoney “punch’ of Shearer.

It's numpties like this that we, as a collective fanbase, are going to need to keep in their box. Because these fuckwits are the ones who will call radio shows etc and give us a bad name. It's going to be a real challenge going forward to stop the fuckwit element of our support sullying the club's good name.
-
it’s not a secret forum. Just join up with a login name that doesn’t arouse suspicion and you will be fine.

The number 1 bitter cunt on there now is undoubtedly Keith S30S…he’s absolutely seething and also the mod who defended all of the racist stuff and ensured the NUFC thread went to Parsnip. Oh aye, and according to him SAFC play “sharp, incisive, clever and attacking football” whilst NUFC are “turgid to watch”

Well let's hope so, cos anything over the £25m upfront and we are definitely getting our eyes pulled out.
-
Tell that to Everton fans.
-
So you'd be comfortable paying £40m+ upfront for him?
-
That's more like it.
-
Its not the buying of him that's the main worry...I am confident that Eddie would get a decent tune out of him......it's the fee that is the issue.
-
No bait. If we are genuinely willing to pay the sums rumoured then that is a major concern. Wasting £25m on Wood when we were boxed into a corner is one thing. This is something else.
-
Buying Gordon would be worrying enough, but if we pay a penny over £25m then I'm all of a sudden fearful for the future. To piss about & refusing to pay £50m for Maddison is one thing but to actually be willing to pay even half that for Gordon is frightening tbh.

If you think that's bad about fake moon landings, I bumped into an old school friend a few weeks ago....hadn't seen him for decades and back then he was a clever enough lad. This time though he spent 20 minutes trying to convince me that not only were the moon landings fake, but so were the Shuttle Missions. He casually explained that it was all fake, and when I asked him what happened to the astronauts who perished in the Challenger & Columbia accidents he calmly told me that the astronauts weren't there and they all ended on the Bermuda Triangle. Needless to say he was also a Covid denier. Honestly man, the pandemic has fucked up so many people's heads that we won't really discover the psychological damage that 2020 did to people for another decade or so. I've started socialising with people again who I hadn't seen since pre-2020 and they all just seem very jaded.

With 1st and 2nd already secured in that league, it really is a lottery who will grab the final place. There are about 8 teams in contention and it could be any one of them as none of them can get any consistency. I can easily see this lot sneaking in through the back door.
-
Really? Every time I have watched them there on TV this season it sounds noisy.
-
Dunno what has happened to Arsenal fans but the Emirates is impressively loud these days. Got to be one of the best home atmospheres in the country at the moment.
-
Just watched that. I trust that he is really loving being in the job but he’s only been in it for 15 months and it has definitely aged him. Fresh faced & boyish Eddie has gone.

Barton was wildly overrated and was able to blag his way through his time at NUFC through his “personality”. The fact the club was a shambles also masked his deficiencies. We aren’t a shambles anymore and don’t need “characters” like Joey Barton.
