Yeah, both Mali and the Ivory Coast will have 6 points each. They have to beat Benin by 3 goals and hope Mali don't win against the Ivory Coast.
-
Owusu who wasn't good enough for Arsenal and was shipped off to Spartak Moscow, now at Celta Vigo on loan. He looked decent in this tournament with the ball at his feet and when crossing.
-
I'm pretty sure Van Der Vaart is joining or wants to go to Juventus.
-
Didn't realise they bought Bardsley as well, a typical Championship signing. How did he do at Villa in a brief spell there?
-
If we do sign him, I don't think he will be as good as he was in his first spell and even then it was rare he was fit.
-
Would have been a red card in the Premiership. Not very good tacklers in this game. Youssef Safri and Youssef Hadji both have Premiership experience for Morocco. An attendance of 1500 in a 40,000 capacity stadium.
-
I was just about to post that No idea who he is, he seems out of place though.
-
Eurosport. Bangoura and Feindouno for Guinea didn't look bad players yesterday. But Muntari's goal was great.
-
Is Hadji the ex Coventry and Aston Villa player? An clumsy challenge for the penalty and a good penalty by Sektioui. The challenge was similar to Kalabanes yesterday.
-
Aye, lots of fouls and just general bad play. Alloudi has looked decent, but its mostly because of the opposition.
-
Funny for being such a small club they don't half devote most of the recent column space to Newcastle.
-
Namibia 1-3 Morocco 29 minutes gone - an Alloudi hattrick, cross came in and a simple header.
-
Namibia 1-2 Morocco 24 minutes gone - a great through ball and low finish by Brendel.
-
Given 6 - kicking is his weakest attribute, but he doesn't command his area leading to communication problems. Carr - 6 - did ok. Cacapa - 7 - a few decisonal errors, but brought the ball out of defence well. Taylor - 6 - did ok. Enrique - 6 - did ok. Milner - 5 - tries to beat his man to often and doesn't get many crosses in. Duff - 6 - improving, but doesn't get to the byline. Rozehnal - 6 - he has an eye for a pass, but lacks strengthto win midfield battles. N'Zogbia - 8 - MotM. Ameobi - 6 - first game in a while, did ok. Owen - 6 - seems to have improved his overall contribution and looks moe lively/interested.
-
Namibia 0-2 Morocco 12 minutes gone - Number 7 for Morocco has looked good and scored a good footballing goal.
-
Thought it was great at start of match, then died off and only livened up in bursts from about 60 minutes when we had a few chances and Jaaskelainen constant time wasting.
-
I don't think any has said we are a big club on here, just that the way the press have covered this story, you wouldn't think we were a small club.
-
That's brilliant! Would probably scare the s*** out of Mike though... I want someone to do this tomorrow
-
Reading this they would probably say we are trying to turn this around and say were a big club because of all the coverage we have been getting. If anything it's getting a little tedious, a bit like our own TV channel "Newcastle TV" on SSN.
-
Why ? http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/09_01/keeganDM0609_468x766.jpg I can see why....

David Craig looked embarassed after Keegan told him to wait his turn
-
At first I was unsure about Kevin Keegan, thought it was a backwards appointment, but this feel good factor has hit me and I can't wait for the game tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the atmosphere again.
-
Thank god Newcastle are not a big club, imagine the coverage if they were
-
LMAO he is f****** cringe worthy, is anyone watching SSN? Is it the dude that yesterday tried using Keegan as an excuse to ask Georgie Thompson out, then looked genuinely gutted when she said no? Its John McCririck man with Newcastle hat, scarf and shirt to boot! Think you might mean David Craig or the guy he interviewed about putting a big bet on it. That was the best interview so far! Aye that was the interview. Was going well until Craig tried popping the question. Her abrupt "NOO" muted any proposal from Craig.
