  1. LMAO he is f****** cringe worthy, is anyone watching SSN? Is it the dude that yesterday tried using Keegan as an excuse to ask Georgie Thompson out, then looked genuinely gutted when she said no? Its John McCririck man with Newcastle hat, scarf and shirt to boot! Think you might mean David Craig or the guy he interviewed about putting a big bet on it. That was the best interview so far!
  2. LMAO he is f****** cringe worthy, is anyone watching SSN? Like one of the those bobbling head (Churchill dogs). "There players outside of the world that we can sign" He's topped it off there, cringe-tastic.
  3. John McCririck on SSN now has more credibility than Oliver! (Just mind) Claiming he put Keegans name in the frame on GMTV.
  4. We had Keegan agreeing to take over on Sunday he said on SSN and they kept it very quiet, only a select few knew.
  5. Will the goals be on SKY after the game finishes if MOTD isnt on?

That poll the Chronicle did will get a mention in tomorrow paper. I don't know what to think, part of me wants to see attacking football, but don't want to hear the inevitable "well at least they will see their side lose 4-3 and go home happy". It seems like a short term option until Shearer is ready to take over.
  11. At Lyon he bought: John Carew Besiktas £ 5m Benoit Pedretti Marseille Sylvain Monsoreau Sochaux Tiago Chelsea £ 6.5m Kim Kallstrom Rennes Jeremy Toulalan Nantes Sebastien Squillaci Monaco Alou Diarra Lens Milan Baros Aston Villa Also he has a policy of bringing through youth players, before he joined Liverpool he was head of technical development for the FFF.
  12. Stoke have signed Leon Cort on a permanent deal today and Leicester released his older brother Carl last Friday. Attendance: 23,500 Score: Newcastle 2-1 Stoke Scorers: Owen (2) Fuller
  13. We hear that a hasty rewrite of the Chronicle was required on Saturday, after the first edition announcing Redknapp as our new manager hit the streets at around the time the Pompey boss confirmed he wasn't taking it. Having announced on Sky to the nation that Redknapp was "past the post", their chief sports writer then went and filed his story confirming that "fact" - only for the printing presses to be halted while new copy adding the word "not" in various places was inserted. Oops. Monday then brought the same individual back in front of the Sky cameras, holding up that day's Chronicle, complete with Shearer-related back page headline. When the Kirk Douglas look-a-like (or is it Jack) was asked who would be Allardyce's replacement on this occasion though, his answer was "not a clue". Honest, at least....
  14. Is that at half time, i cant tell? your spot on there Thought he was going to AZ Alkmaar? Also, I think he is able to talk to other clubs due to his contract expiring soon. http://sport.independent.co.uk/football/premier-league/article3331351.ece Elsewhere, Maniche has signed for Inter Milan. So much for Tottenham making a bid for him after he was in talks with Inter according to the Mirror.
  15. Was the Luque deal under scrutiny by Lord Steven's? Souness told he cost £2m, when in fact he cost £9.5m. Wanted Anelka and was told he would cost £12m (maybe euros), but Shepherd told him he was not available and bought Owen for £16m.
  16. immensely s***! bambi on ice mark 2 Wow, he actually said that. Caçapa was ... eh, he did a few things right and far too many mistakes. A very poor performance. Think he was average. He put in a few saving tackles, but also caused a few problems with slack passing. Wouldn't say it was a terrible performance.
  17. Yeah, you're right. We deserved at least a point.... Yeah because thats what I said.
  18. Just feel dejected, even though I didn't think it was going to be anything other than a defeat. 1) I didn't think that either of the penalty appeals for Man Utd were. Ronaldo played for the first one and Giggs kicked Smith. 2) Owen was onside when the ball was played and his goal should have stood. 3) The freekick for Ronaldo's first goal should never have been given. He mishit the ball and fell over. 4) Ferdinand looked offside for his goal. 5) Was the whole ball over the line for Tevez's goal? Seem to remember Ray Wilkins reasoning that when Martins struck the bar against Chelsea in the League Cup. 6) Styles is s**** and so is the linesman. 7) Taylor, N'Zogbia and Enrique all had decent games. 8) The ball was running for Man Utd and generally has against Newcastle this year. Hits Cacapa and goes to Tevez, although it should have been in row Z before that. 9) Man United 6-0 Newcastle - I would love to get revenge in the home game.
  19. We have failed to attract a manager who is no better than Allardyce, so what chance do we have of attracting anyone better? So who do you think the potential candidates they have spoken to are? Redknapp (obviously) McClaren Shearer - apparently would consider the job if approached so might rule him out.
  20. The way I see it is that Mort and Ashley wanted to appoint Redknapp. They sacked Allardyce and we were 'informed' from Kemsley that Ashley had something up his sleave "I know Mike well enough to know he doesn't make decisions rashly. He will know where he's going, he will stick to his plans and deliver what he believes will please the Newcastle fans. If you give him time, he will deliver exactly what the Newcastle fans want. I'm sure he's got a plan." Seems that it has backfired and we will get left with second best, similar to England and look at the clown that got appointed. Why should business men with no experience of football decide who is best to manage a football club, why not consult people with a football background like SBR about the managers position?
  21. I must have missed something. Has it been confirmed that the "SOCKS BLOWN OFF" person was either Hughes or Redknapp. No but the same person who made the "socks blown off claim" follows up the story with a "Its 50/50 between Hughes and Redknapp" 1+1=... Someone with limited football knowledge could get their socks blown off by Redknapp or Hughes. Mort.
  22. http://www.italymag.co.uk/2008/news-from-italy/sports/soccer-lippi-eager-to-return/ Was in a few of the big Italian papers, although he mentions he would prefer Spain because of the language.
  23. Walked past St. James' before and saw about four charva lads chanting Harry Redknapp infront of the SKY crew. Cringetastic, they were actually trying their hardest to get as many interviews as possible. SKY attracts the mongs, they don't have to go out and find them!
  24. So are we only looking at British?
