best part about that is it's basically the same approach he's been absolutely slated for the last couple of years vs. top 6 teams, difference is tonight our players were able to impose themselves a bit more than usual at the right times and citeh weren't up to their usual standard

Hows about we keep a good player, and also bring another in, instead of replacing, just a thought like. don't think anyone means sell him now do they? i'd look to move him in the summer if we decide to operate like a proper club for a change Ki, Diame, Longstaff, New competing for the 2 spots under Rafa would work for me with maybe another option as backup to that

not to be a miserable cunt but my YT scouting suggests to me he's got a massive step up to make if he's gonna do the same shit he's been doing in the MLS over here

fee agreed? just the wages to sort out then

if the cancellations are actually as significant as it's looking he'll cut the price and people will buy it -
Waiting for Keys et al. To comment how charnely gets paid so low to fund rafas wages. Why should Ashley fire him and risk having to bring in someone competent on an actual wage. surely rafa should pay him more out of his own pocket thus ensuring he's a motivated and competent person getting the deals done?

If he gets them in the top 4 then I think he will be considered for the job though it will depend how much the players would like him to stay. it's an interesting one because the quality of their attacking players is really, really hiding how f***ing awful their defence is and that doesn't seem like something that's sustainable really...they'll have enough firepower to blow most of the league away but unless they spend about £400m on a new defence and improvements in midfield they'll not challenge Our midfield is quality man. Need a RB and possibly two CB's, however Lindelof has been excellent. Shaw is a good left back for many years. Think Lindelof will be a great defender. Even under Mourinho I thought he showed flashes to suggest he was good that post was mainly aimed at the defence but i think you could do with some tweaking in midfield, if you want to challenge for the title anytime soon that is
-
he'd do well there if he went, imo, but a lot would depend on the expectations
-
so far i've seen a sit in, chocolate coins, tennis balls & DW signs all for the same game i think (i might have that wrong granted) we can't get anyone to agree on one protest so 4 should go well
-
taking that at face value how have you managed to watch football for so long and know so little about it?
-
fucks gan on with social media, seems to be about 52,000 different protest ideas being pushed for a game tomorrow
-
this is literally what was said when rafa joined and then extended his contract.. no way he'll get taken in by ashley yet here we are there's no chance that shit can be written into contracts, it has to be convention and agreement between gentlemen ashley is a pure cunt though so here we are

to anyone but the fat cunts that own clubs in theory a % cap on money taken out or % of money that needs to stay in a club would be great but these pricks would just find magic accountants ways around it anyway -
4 stars out of 5 highly overestimating himself with that rating :/

is there any chance rafa burns the place to the ground once we're safe and he's left, i.e. holds a scathing press conference or whatever? :/

i asked the exact same thing and have yet to see a suggestion you might argue that an allardyce might be able to work with the defence we have and rondon up front but i honestly don't see how you get more out of this squad in the areas that rafa is currently struggling with no one is gonna get this group of players playing like wolves or whatever, not a chance in hell, so what so critics of rafa actually want? I don’t even know what someone like Allardyce could do with the defence, aren’t we already one of the best in the league defensively? Our limitations are purely attacking, because offensive players cost money. Aye that's the point

Yep, would ask those who love to sit in front of their computers bashing a world class manager, booing subs, booing Ayoze after he scores goals, gladly going to matches to show they are true fans whilst lining MA's pockets to kindly shut the fuck up. I'm done attempting to even reason or listen to them. It's beyond stupid. Utterly embarrassing group of supporters we have that would act like utter pricks. We have Rafa Benitez here getting mugged by the owner and he's willingly sticking around in attempt to keep this club from getting relegated. If those match going lovers actually gave a single fuck they'd be making it well known that they are sitting around like lambs while the club is being ran straight into the ground over past 11 years. A club that should be employing more people in town, bringing young footballers through, nope, just willingly allowing a man to destroy every single bit of pride in the crest. i suppose for those people it might be illustrative if they take the imaginary example of rafa and apply it to pep guardiola? so pep leaves man city tomorrow and takes over from rafa next week for some unknown fucking reason but he inherits this team we get relegated in may and pep sells some assets to revamp the squad into more his style but for the champo making a profit in the process...he gets us promoted as champions and expects he'll be able to improve the squad year on year and that the club will follow his plan the club do not follow his plan but they fuck him around with transfers and he gets a couple of players that are kind of suited to his system and style but are really not good enough on any level, against the odds he keeps up us and even gets us to 10th...was a bit of a struggle but hey ho hopefully now we've had season in the PL stabilising they'll let him have some better players the club do not give him any players and he ends up with a profit on transfers and the same squad that he had in the champo, who can play nice football which is lush to watch but simply aren't good enough...3rd season another massive struggle quitting aside what do these rafa critics think pep should do under those circumstances on the pitch? he's a manager with a very distinct and detailed style, would they expect him to abandon that and try to get inferior players than can play his system to switch to another system and style, perhaps a more direct one? that seems to be what the likes of Tiotes Witch Doctor[/member] is saying..it really doesn't make any sense managers of this caliber don't just change their entire modus operandi...look at mourinho, he tried to play his system with the wrong group of players at manyoo and they were fucked, but his years of success were built on the same foundations like rafa

(not pointed at you of course but) how isn't it obvious to absolutely fucking everyone that he's simply doing a riff on the CLOSING DOWN SALE signs in his shops with us? it's so transparent now it's unreal

Tiotes Witch Doctor[/member] - tell me, honestly, looking at the group of players at our disposal if rafa left tomorrow who would be your ideal manager to take over until the end of the season and what do you think he could achieve in terms of results and style of play? i'm a cult member and recognise that we signed one of the world's best managers who happens to operate in a very detailed and specific way to achieve what he has throughout his career...our owner has undermined him at every turn making achieving success much more difficult than it needs to be for such a manager who in my opinion is getting way more out of this group of players than he has any right to which reverts back to my question, which is genuine...do you think a PFM could get something out of them perhaps?
