1. dunno like dave, accepting his mistakes is one thing but finding the finances is another eh? if we have the same set of players next year we'll struggle again, simple as that (although maybe not as badly)
2. was that intentional? as a piss take?
3. poor. I'd prefer to be right, which of course I am. why is it so important to be right?
4. it was the bit where you said "no, I don't think the performance was average at all" that threw me see?
5. haven't a scooby how to quote more than post, thought i did well getting it like that It's just:
Text here
Around each different post. Simples. ah!! mine had a / on the first quote, i gets it now....

7. no, I don't think the performance was average at all in the bigger scheme of things, if it WAS, then it was only average by their own higher standards as put against the club they took over, and the club we are now as we slide downwards with ever quickening speed. can't quote properly but anyways why has no-one picked this up? diabolical statement in all fairness well, if you think so, what do you think of the position we are in now, and the position in which the Halls and Shepherd found the club in 1991, and our league positions of the previous 35 years before that ? again mate your reply bears no relevance to the time period or passage of debate in question you've clearly stated you don't believe that performances were average towards the end of the shepherd era, i'm sure i'm not alone in thinking that diabolical tbh throwing in a disclaimer about "the bigger scheme of things" changes nothing really - it's like saying my performance in marathon running is above average in the bigger scheme which includes people with no legs even though i can't run for shit one of the most biased statements i've read in a while i'll answer your question mind: i'm not impressed, not impressed at all but i fully recognise the part FS & other played in raising the clubs expectations to CL football and their subsequent part in our decline pre-ashley that was very real indeed both on and off the pitch ashley has basically taken what was a declining non-terminal (yet) cancer patient and thrown him down a lift shaft from just the right height not to kill but to severely injure, and he deserves all the vitriol he gets for it

9. This man is a born leader. nice that he's enjoying that aspect of it as well, encouraging
10. And therein lies the clue to why so many are pissed off with his comments in the Guardian today. Shay could have been the difference to us being in the Premier League next season and not. No-one wants his "prayers" for us to stay up, would have preferred him to stick out 5 months inbetween the sticks for us, and then moving on. If you cannot understand that then sobeit. I wanted him to stay too but the abuse he's getting for leaving a joke. Why should he have stayed? We had a abysmal caretaker manager, s**** players, no chance of silverwear, a captain that wants to leave, a farce of a board but he's a t*** for leaving? looking like relegation? Is that not the time to dig in and see us through? At least til the end of the season. He just appeared in man city training ground with a big smile on his face. Its ok Shay, we'll face our destiny with out you. coward. no chance that he thought harper was an able deputy and the money the club would get from his sale could be reinvested into our first team and help the fight then gimp? he didn't do our fucking negotiating for us man...or decide what the club spent on players (or didn't spend) - had we got 10m for him and spent it well on two players i doubt many people would chelping like this like the way you're sure what was going through his head though, which was terror and fear, being a coward like eh?
11. ba ha ha, the scrawl on the piece of paper!!!
12. i can't believe that in 2009 people are so parochial and xenophobic regarding a competition they have no vested interest in going to another english club, the fans and players of whom you'll likely be spouting venom at when they play NUFC in days/weeks/months to come I am English, I have a vested interest in the Champions League as I watch it through out the season & my preference is I would like to see a English club win the Champions League is that so hard to comprehend in 2009? the champions league is a club competition, and i presume you support NUFC, so i see no relevance in your nationality and the outcome of this tournament mate Okay then, I would like the teams that compete domestically against NUFC to win, does that suit you better. Of course nationality has part in it, that is why UEFA give the invitations to The FA & not the Premier League as the teams in it represent The Football Association, not the Premier League. look i respect your right to an arbitrary nationalistic opinion, i just don't agree with it see dave's post for a succinct version of what i'm saying I am not sure what you mean by arbitrary nationalistic, I just call it legitimate nationalistic. I respect that you want the favourites to win rather than the plucky English underdogs that is your choice. very good
13. I dont ever recall you dropping people in the s*** and i've known you 30 years. if you've known him 30 years and you were both working for joke company who were continually f***ing over their staff and customer base for years on end wouldn't you be pleased he was getting a chance at a move to a potentially more sensible environment () with a massive increase in wages? if it was my mate i would like No

Dowie

Hell's teeth. Encouraging stuff from Dowie. he's just spouting platitudes, i know that dude i just want to see some signs from them that they're fully getting to grips with our current problems before talking about the future - if they turn it around on the pitch then all well and good, 'til then they've got 1 point from 2 games - shut the f*** up 'til that increases significantly spouted all sorts of s**** too, he barely improved a single thing though harsh but fair imo ^ load of bollocks. thats just my opinion though. care to expand? though not at least give me a chance! in no way can shearer and dowies approcah so far be compared to kinnears. 'simon bird..your a cunt'. just like our new regime that. i like what they're saying and the off field actions so far also, i'll just buy into it more when they've made noticeable improvements on the pitch and with the teams/formations they're selecting granted they've not had much time but that was my point at the start!

16. Only 10 started last seasons final. ah ok, well if <50% english players played in one game then fair enough love stats me
17. was about to bet fulham to beat 'boro this weekend and bottled it - if i bet it you could guarantee the pricks would get a result

Pretty certain that any of the three would dominate La Liga too. missed the point dude Not really. You're saying people should want the best team to win, rather than just choosing an English side? Well I think most people do. ah, i don't
