  1. should that be the true explanation and he moves, he MUST be replaced immediately and without hesitation...as someone else has said colo ain't even kicked a ball yet, taylor and cacapa are accidents waiting to happen aaaaargh i fukn hate this pre-season
  2. HAS to be bullshit mate, there's simply no other explanation unless we're signing another CB to play with colo...and that's not very fucking likely is it?
  3. woah! tragedy is he'll probably be able to pay that off without any help & still live comfortably for the rest of his life even if he stopped playing tomorrow mental
  4. quite interesting, search the bbc football site for complete transfers in july & august and bassong isn't on it?!
  5. Give your head a shake. Rules are not set by our club, we're bringing a player in by using a rule which is relatively new and it's the first time we've used it so we'll have to learn as we go on, it will be the same for the Spanish FA and his former club who understandably don't want to lose out. They would be stupid to throw the towel in without a fight and I would hope we would do the same if the situation was reversed. You calling for a sacking because of this is stupid to say the least. your stupid is my intelligent then mate - stupid to me is announcing a signing that under a tiny microscope of scrutiny we see there are many many complications and possible pitfalls give your head a shake and you'll see geremi and duff on sunday at old trafford
  6. so reading that i wonder why he's being trumpeted as a new signing when in reality he's not until we pay whatever we're told to pay, which then may negate the "wonder deal" he was magic
  7. this Give me one good reason for NUFC not wanting to tie up this deal and have him available for the game. your post bears no relevance to the 2 you've quoted You're criticising the running of the club. I'm saying it isn't totally their fault and they want the deal done asap. You want people sacked for not getting the deal done ffs. you said give me a reason for NUFC not wanting the deal concluded, neither of us mentioned desire as a factor as chicago says the deal was announced weeks ago, if he's not eligible to play sunday someone needs sacking..."want" has nothing to do with it Even if it's not our fault? Has it occurred to you that a the time we signed him and announced it, we believed the player's documentation was in transit too? The problems may have happened after we confirmed it. You can't rewind time. I'm just saying that I think the club is doing everything it can to get the documents and they're as pissed off about it all as you, I and all of us are. If another party, the Spanish FA, is holding the deal up, it's not our fault. Jesus fucking wept. i'll reply in 2 ways before kip; 1. it's a good point, something unexpected happened after they announced the signing yet they chose not to announce said impediment 2. we employ people on crazy wages, embarrassing wages really, to ensure this shit does not happen have you seen it at another club? me either? thus someones not earning their money, fucken sack em Using the 'Webster rule' to sign a player isn't exactly a run-of-the-mill transfer. It's unusual and clubs are still trying to get their heads around the new legislation atm. I'm not exonerating the club totally however, and I hope they learn from their mistakes. I'm suggesting the problems with the missing registration surfaced after we'd signed him and the Spanish FA are backing their team and holding fire for the time being. I don't believe for a second that NUFC don't want this sorted asap and want to play Gutierrez as much and as soon as possible and are doing everything they can to get it resolved. PS. I bet the same twats who are complaining about us announcing the Jonas signing early are the very same twats who are complaining about Coloccini not being confirmed on the website. Maybe, just fucking maybe, Ashley is a bit embarrassed by the Guti deal being held up and is holding fire on going public about the Colo deal. Just a thought. Sleep tight, tiger. x ah, am i one of those twats then? research my posts mate, i've consistently said i think colo's our player and am still of that opinion wish i wasn't such a twat oh and your point about ashley & guti/colo is so far beyond embarrassing i'm not even going to pull you on it End of the conversation then isn't it? touche!

If another party, the Spanish FA, is holding the deal up, it's not our fault. Jesus f***ing wept. They confirmed it a month and a half ago. They have had a lot of time to resolve this problem, and they haven't. Whether they wanted to or tried very hard doesn't matter. When you make only 2 first team signings, you expect them to play. So yes, I am criticizing the way the club is being run. I honestly didn't expect to be looking at the same team on August 16 that lost 0-6 minus Stephen Carr, plus Bolton's Danny Guthrie. [/quote

  10. then don't tell me the guy is an nufc player then, if you're not certain Honestly? You'd rather he hadn't played any of the pre-season or anything, because there's still a couple of ts need crossing? We've clearly got him, and if there is a delay over clearance to play (still only an if) it's just Mallorca being buggars and complaining they wanted more money for him. so despite knowing nothing and admitting the webster ruling is a grey area you're perfectly confident all is well then? wierd and as i said earlier if the club knew he couldn't play they should have used pre-season for players they know can, outlandish opinion i know

I believe this is the third time, and I know that Webster himself had to sit out for quite a while. It's not the most clear cut ruling there is, and if Mallorca are trying to dispute it I'd imagine there isn't much we could do. then don't tell me the guy is an nufc player then, if you're not certain

  13. Oh, I'm sure they'll still go through. Teams often roll over at Anfield. It's just funny to see how far behind they still are after signing Robbie "last piece of the jigsaw" Keane. Wasn't just meaning the tie, like. Not saying they'll be fighting for the title, but it's still daft to write them off completely after 1 competitive game. actually it's not, they've spaffed their wad on a player that wasn't a crucial part of them not challenging imo the stories circulating now about them chasing an 8m winger tell the real story - keane will not be a deciding factor in them winning the league full stop

  17. i'll agree with that thomo...posted tonight without thinking but it's irking me as the night moves on when did it become acceptable to give up games due to transfers? seems to me everyone has written off at least 2 games as they're within the window and deals "can't be completed" unless you're anyone other than nufc
  18. It makes me laugh when people think they know how the club is being ran. Good comedy at least. you're back! I am, you love it really. course i do mate! who on earth holds grudges on the tinternet?!!!

  20. the NO equivalent of prozac: "there's 17 days of the window left" countdown as appropriate
  21. May not be able to play according to who? Your imagination? So what if it took a few weeks more then expected to complete the signing of Gutierrez, I suppose that's not a price worth paying to sign a 26 year old current Argie international for £2 million? I suppose you'd have preferred us to pay the £10 million his club valued him at so we could have played him against the likes of Doncaster, well worth the extra £8 million eh? i'll reiterate, the league is 38 games long when did it become acceptable to write august off? pitiful imo don't know how to do clever bolds and that but: "So what if it took a few weeks more then expected to complete the signing of Gutierrez" well refer yourself back to my point about about the league being 38 games and the general belief guti won't play sunday
