We already have that so it would be merged, it's the brainless twitter rumours thread. Yet, people behave there, even if things posted are outlandish.
-
The only truly annoying thing here is the constant bickering instead of actually staying on topic.
-
They do it in their dedicated thread, they don't do it in every thread or start 10 new threads for it - that would be RTG levels. However, the people who are annoyed at the positive posters are reaching RTG levels in their responses. Just don't use the optimism thread. The thread states in its opening post what the subject will be, and the thread title states it. Respect that and don't break forum rules by making non-contributive posts.

It's essentially just dividing realism vs optimism, really. Such as the transfer thread vs twitter bullshit thread - this so the one thread doesn't get filled with stuff people don't want to read. It's not hard to understand. Outlandishly positive things go in here and people who wish to discuss those things have free reign. More realistic/toned-down stuff go in the main thread. A tweet daying Bruce is close to signing Haaland doesn't go in the realistic transfers thread, to put it like that, but there's room for that tweet somewhere on the forum - and that's what has always made this forum great.

- 2 Bodø/Glimt, - 1 Molde and -1 Rosenborg off to a great start. Only Rosenblrog left.

No. In the event Chelsea wins the CL but finishes 5th, they'll get the 4th CL spot and the team that finishes 4th in the league goes to the EL instead. It was changed after the Liverpool debacle.

The holdouts might end up being banned for two years though iirc.

Stadiums with a running track are the worst.

It's funny 'cause it's true

I really want Lincoln up for FM purposes.

I enjoyed OGS press conference today. Paraphrasing the quote a bit from memory but the essence was "This is a proper competition and it means a lot to be a part of it. We had to fight hard to be where we are and now we're one step away from the final. We're here with teams like AC Milan, Villareal and Rome, storied clubs in a tough competition and winning it matters to me, the players and our fans."

I want to see change in teams and not the same old all the time so Brentford or Barnsley for me. Brentford is my main choice due to their moneyball approach, would love to see how that fares in the Premier League.

If anything, Real Madrid should get a ban from European competition.

Deep trouble is a bit dramatic still, three games less played than Köln and three points off, four points off safety with two games less played. I think they'll be safe, at least I hope so.

He's actually defending the Saudis buying us by saying it's not actually great to have a British businessman who runs the club within the parameters of sensible financial controls, at least that's how I read that quote.

This is an absolutely amazing quote: "Of course, it would be better if Newcastle were owned by a wealthy British businessman, who runs the club within the parameters of sensible financial controls. Except Newcastle is owned by a wealthy British businessman, who runs the club within the parameters of sensible financial controls, Mike Ashley, and everyone hates him."
