The refs have had their say, Graham Poll ofcourse, Dermot Gallagher was on talksport saying it was a foul, and Jeff Winter wrote this on his website. I'm yet to hear a ref come out in support of De Jong.

Alot of people in this country have got this faux-macho bullshit going on, saying "it's a mans game" etc. The people backing De Jong are the same people that worship Vinnie Jones and "Chopper" Harris etc, the same people that spend time thinking about who their teams hardest player is. It's bullshit, no one has ever proved how hard they are on a footballer pitch, and throwing yourself into challenges with your eyes closed shows nothing but cowardice.

All the referee's i've heard from so far have said it was reckless and a foul, there is no argument, despite the bullshite coming out of Manchester.
