Strand Larsen would cost similar to Jackson, if he’s even available. Muniz just isn’t very good, he can’t displace Raul Jimenez because he’s basically a decent athlete with very average technique and link up play.

So far we have received one bid, after he went on strike, and for below market rate. He has an argument for wanting to leave, any player can want to leave a club, but there’s no good reason for going on strike. The club hasn’t even had a good opportunity to sell him.

I would get Kalimuedo, Jackson on a loan to buy, and send Isak to Turkey on loan for a juicy fee. The Wissa situation is too uncertain.

It seems an odd decision to choose to go for a player whose career you’ll basically have to turn around, rather than go for someone that’s on the up like El Khannouss or Taylor. The price will probably be the around the same (30m or so I’m assuming), but with Ramsay you’ll need to turn his form around and watch his fitness like a hawk.

Wouldn’t turn my nose up at Ramsey as he strengthens us, but he’s a Willock upgrade rather than a player that will give us something different or a player with a very high ceiling.

No one has put in an acceptable bid, and despite that the club has tried to bring in a replacement to make him leaving easier. He’s also been offered a new contract with a release clause. I’m not sure why there would be a minutes silence given that there was one yesterday and there will be one at Anfield for their first home game. Surely they won’t be doing it throughout the season?

If Liverpool don’t raise their bid significantly and push to sign him then they’ve massively fucked with Isak’s career.

It’s sell-on clauses and buy-back clauses up the wazoo with McAtee, I think that’s why no one has bought him yet.

Not signing Wissa is a serious possibility the way things are going, and right now Jackson looks far more available. It wouldn’t surprise me if Eddie starts to get impatient and asks them to bid for someone else. I agree that we won’t be going for both Jackson and Wissa.

If he turns down the opportunity to play with Bruno then he should be disowned.

I don’t think we have the resources to go after Gallagher or Paqueta (maybe next summer when he has 1 year left). Outside of that, Taylor from Ajax sounds interesting and realistic.

I suppose he thought Kerkez was the best LB in the world when Bournemouth was written on his contract.

If PIF have decided no and he stays, then Liverpool have made it easy for them. They could be putting the pressure on by upping their bid, but instead they’re just arrogantly sitting back assuming the dirty strike tactic will force us to sell at a low price.
