I realized that i was there when he scored both his first and last goal for the club, i remember that Palace game where he got his first goal for us i was complaining about how useless he is then Carroll nodded it down to him and he won us the game. I've been one of his biggest critics on here and honestly think he's one of the dumbest footballers I've ever seen, so terrible that he was the gold standard for shit wingers, and then he had his purple patch and helped take us to the Champions league so in a way he managed to ensure he will be remembered fondly here, we should've upgraded him a long time ago but now that he's gone i wish him nothing but the best.

To be fair Vini Jr wasn't that good when he first started, they seem to buy these players with a long term strategy and persist with them until they make it.

His lack of end product is alarming, he's got pretty much everything you need in the defensive part but when we go forward he's so poor, had a chance early in the game from the right and despite having multiple options to cross too he picked out their defender.

Good layoff to assist Tonali but feels like he's not as effective in the last two games, hopefully shows more in the game against Fulham.

He was really on it today, even when those around him get slow he's down who's always trying to get the ball and make things happen.
