He is making better runs and has a good understanding with Bruno but we have to upgrade him, he's the same Almiron when it comes to the final third , no end product and more often than not makes the wrong decision, we can't rely on him as a first team starter if we are to push ourselves this season.

That was a really silly tackle to make in a friendly, could've seriously injured their player. he's been fantastic in keeping position and moving with the ball but he needs to manage his tackles better.

There is absolutely no point in trying to play any style of football with him up-top, just like last season the amount of good balls into the box that just pass in front of him because he is not moving right or trying to get to them is really silly, even the most basic league one/league two striker will manage to get to one or two of them.

Nufc.com says its actually two games of 11-aside being played against Burnley right now. perhaps that's why the youngsters were also called in.

He looks miles ahead of Almiron and Murphy already, i think he should be part of our first team this season and even pushing for a start ahead of these two.

Almiron Fraser and Wood can play all season and won't have more than 6 goal contributions between them.

He did well for us in the Championship and some of the premier league seasons. but lost his way in the last few years, it is disappointing that we are only able to loan these players out rather than sell them and get some income for transfers.

I thought that too but i'm happy to see Matty playing with the first team.
