  1. The worst kind of injury. Didn't like the way his knee moved at all. Hope it's not as bad as it looked.
  2. Everton's backline is very strong. I don't think the style of attack we used against West Brom will be effective against them.
  3. If the subs are timed right the game is still up for grabs. The issue with me isn't that they're on the bench, it's how f***ing ineffective we are with substitutes. We won't see them until the 70th minute where they won't make any difference. I can't remember the last time we made a tactical substitution at half-time. Can't understand the phobia there. I guess they're scared of the injury curse striking again. Wouldn't be unlike Newcastle to have 3 immediate injuries after an early sub.
  4. Both team are really rather bad. At least Everton have one of their two best players on the pitch though.
  5. You sound like Sam Allardyce's illegitimate and slightly retarded son. No offence meant by the way.
  6. Everton side is pretty weak. Who will provide the width in their team....Arteta? Yobo is a fantastic centreback, but I wouldn't trust him on the right. It's just too bad we've weakened ourselves with the poor selection.
  7. Exactly why it's banned on here. They never hosted any streams on that site, just provided links to them, yet they're still getting in the s***. That's something we can do without. I would just like to add that this particular site won its lawsuit and is back up and running. Step forward.
  8. Meanwhile Real Madrid have dropped five goals in the first half on Betis.
  9. I'd rather we not change the rules of the world's best sport in such a ridiculous and gimmicky fashion.
  10. How the f*** do you compare Given to Owen. What are you on. Given was a warrior for this club for 12 years. Owen was a part-timer for four. Please don't insult our collective intelligence with such ridiculously slanted rubbish.
  11. Of course we did under Roeder. We didn't really have a choice. The fringe players were already in the starting XI.
  12. Who is this Parrett. DOn't Spurs have a bunch of young midfielders that could play before him?
  13. Martins is much more easily compared to Bellamy. Our version of Shearer is either Ameobi (poor), Carroll (average), or Xisco (not given a chance). actually I've forgotten Viduka....but who could blame me. We have no targetman. All three of our good strikers play a similar style.
  14. It's gotta be so easy to pull girls as a footballer. ...Not for everyone http://img.skysports.com/08/01/218x298/Petera_Ramage_625679.jpg http://www.facebook.com/s.php?ref=search&init=q&q=peter+ramage&sid=2301e3e2578f1e1332a2c20db7436908#/group.php?sid=2301e3e2578f1e1332a2c20db7436908&gid=41360052065 QPR fans love him. mackems.gif Still can't believe we stayed when he was our best central defender AND best right back for nearly half the season. and in which universe did this occur? The Universe where Huntingdon as our second best defender when everyone was knackered, back 4 was something like - Carr Ramage Edgar Huntigdon. To be fair we should have went down with that backline, League 2 at best overall. One reason why we stayed up: Shay Given. Judas c***. Our defence really wasn't that awful that year, at least not compared to last year. Though it was poor in talent and quality, we didn't really ship that many goals as a team. Our biggest challenge was scoring goals. Bascially we just had Oba (and whatever midfielder he was paired with). I remember that year we didn't really grasp the horrible situation we were in until near the end (As we had a quite good stretch in the middle, where Obawas scoring and we were winning.)
  15. Owen at this point in his career is a better player than Shearer was post 2003-2004. However, Mr. 206 was much ore influential to Newcastle especially and had the ability to be more of a focal which is important as we have lacked fluidity.
  16. DO South Americans still count as non-EU players? I know the Kolpak decision meant that African players weren't considered non-EU. Not sure of the effect on South Americans though.
  17. Nah, at best there are at most five South Koreans that I think could be an asset to us long term. He isn't one of them, but he's a proven international DM who's on a free and can come now. If the scouting "system" is any good then surely we should have had a look, especially considering that he's been sitting on his ass negotiating a contract with Monaco for the past month or so. What do you know of Ki Sung-Yong? I was told he's supposed to be a star by one of the many Koreans that live in my building. I've seen bits of him, but obviously I'm not watching all that much of the K-League. He is a holding player too I believe. I'm still disappointed with one of the last Koreans who was supposed to be a world star, Park Chu Young. I've known about him for a long while, but he hasn't developed and has probaly regressed. I do watch Ligue 1 and seeing him with Monaco......well, he's just not very good.
  18. Adebayor isn't THAT much better than Bendtner, and Eduardo and RVP (Who is great) have experienced imjury problems.
  19. Is it illegal to PM people to request PMs?
  20. I'm having a tough time imagining Nile actually saying that, tbh.
  21. I don't think Roeder or Allardyce (the latter especially) are really poor managers.
  22. Honestly that is nonsense. The man is just trying to win a penalty for his team, the way most players of every nationality and football culture attempt to. I don't think he should have to alter his game because Martin Taylor tried to seperate his foot from his leg.
  23. Nicky Butt is always there....always. Regardless of the fact we haven't invested enough or whatever people say, we've brought in five superior players in his position in the last two seasons, yet he is still there every match.
