Anywhere else on the pitch and he’d have got there. If you look at the lads size, mobility (limitations) and his willingness to cover ground it’s pretty amazing it’s taken until now to find his position. WTF have they been doing in training, I’d kinda assumed they’d messed around with positions and that he’d been caught in possession and given the ball away constantly in practice. He was motm by a distance last night.

So, I was told that Trippier was done from a bloke who used to work on the football side of NUFC and now works for another club with a direct link to Howe. Hayden went down holding his head, Dean clearly looks at Hayden at least twice and from a distance of around 12 yards decides it’s either not a head injury or he doesn’t see Hayden holding his head. So, Dean is either qualified on making medical assessments from 12 yards away or is blind as a bat. The rules are there to protect the player, there's no leeway on this, that’s the whole point.
