  1. That looked offside in real time lol
  2. When does the pass start; I’m assuming it is when a player makes initial contact with the ball, might be talking milliseconds but it could be the difference between Sterling being on or offside there. I can’t recall any debate on how it is decided when to stop the frame.
  3. I’ll not know until Sunday, I boycotted Spurs and was one of only around 15 who went in late last season in the Milburn Paddock but I’m more inclined to go on Sunday. Ashley is the disease I don’t want my club to die as a result and they’re will be players out there on Sunday who need our support and are the future. Might sound contrived but there you go, I can certainly boycott in the future if I decide otherwise on Sunday.
  4. There’s some real lack of faith in the players Rafa left behind. If they can’t take forward what they’ve learned in the last 2 years or so then they’re not at all professional. Bruce will set us up a bit different but if the players ignore the regimental drills Rafa and positional memory installed in them then they deserve a right kicking. Bruce has picked up what should be a disciplined core and who knows what we’ll get with the new players. There’s no reason why this team can’t give Arsenal a real game. We’re all on the same page with what Ashley is but the players need to be judged on the field and so does Bruce tbf. And no, I didn’t want Bruce and Ashley is the disease and the players will be expected and have a duty to do the best they can. I despair with what’s gone on but, I fucking hope we smash Arsenal. Still don’t know if I’ll be there.
  5. You should look at some of the early pages on the Rondon thread. As an impact player he could get us some vital points, we need someone like him as an option and yes we’re taking a gamble on his fitness. It has to be in our favour that he clearly wants to be back here and it’s not for the money. I’m happy enough with the signing, we were never going to spend big again on another striker, compare him to Joselu not Rondon (and take a look at those Rondon pages).
  6. Just a note for Gallowgate End; I posted this last Friday and after our Swedish reporter on here said the Krafth deal was dead. This isn’t posted as a go, I just don’t like being accused of lying. Nsoki didn’t happen, Krafth did and so would have Austin had the club not decided on a punt with Carroll as a much cheaper option to do the same job, with the added bonus of being a returning local lad. Club employees have to live somewhere; I just happen to live near one and see him from time to time. That's weird, someone else said the Krafth deal had fallen through in a previous post. I’ll be honest I didn’t know who he was or that we’d already been linked but I was told this only a few hours ago. I was also told that Nsoki should be successfully resolved as well.
  7. Not Charlie Austin either or Krafth for that matter.
  8. Think I’d mentioned that the set up was poor and far worse than other clubs, scouts hadn’t been allowed to go the World Cup or youth tournaments over the summer. There is more but that’s for another time. What planet is this guy on Can you tell us what Steve Bruce is having for breakfast tomorrow too? Or what Midhat Kidwai is upto right now? I could never imagine having the cheek to pretend to be an ITK and lead people on. No idea mate but I’m fairly sure you’re a fucking idiot. Because I won’t be lied to A simple search through my post history will show consistency in where I get info from. An awful lot of it doesn’t actually come about but I promise you one thing; the source is genuine and always given in good faith. I posted a few days ago that Austin was coming, that Krafth was coming and that N’Soki was still possible - none of these may happen; it doesn’t mean that the info was made up or that you’ve been lied too. I’ve no interest in making bollocks up and if I did I’d certainly make it more interesting than Charlie Austin signing and not being allowed to go to the World Cup.

  11. Tbf, his title and responsibility is a little bit more than a scout, not top table but enough to have Ryder on the phone for any snippets. You’re right that nobody other than Ashley and Rafa (and I suspect Rafa’s inner circle) knew what was happening at the time but bits and pieces do eventually come out. I’ve posted stuff on here from the same source that has proven to be bollocks before so I’ll not take any offence. Rafa kept his cards very close to his chest by all accounts.

    Stanley Nsoki

You could see in preseason games that we were in for all kinds of trouble with McClaren. I remember watching a preseason game where Rivière played and from then on in I was expecting the worst.
  13. Who told you all this your mam or did you dream it up? Best part “From what I’ve been told” You know when they start with that they’re talking absolute agenda driven garbage Made Keegan leave & made Rafa leave and we still haven’t all learnt the issue. Incredible. Quite honestly your opinion on what’s going on and who should be doing what is nearing medical intervention. Bloke who works on the scouting side gives me bits and pieces from time to time. He expected Rafa to stay on a shorter deal, he was never going to sign a 8 year deal and nobody gave any real credence to him going to China. The fact that he did go must be an indication of how long this had been in the pipeline. Rafa simply doesn’t do sod this I’m off to China without looking into every aspect of it. Bloody hell, he approached us after doing his homework and was right about everything other than his ability to change Ashley.
  14. Will missing one match really hurt you? No and I boycotted the Spurs game, watched it in a Ladbrokes. At that time I probably wanted Pardew out as much as I wanted Ashley out. My conflict this time is that I’m not sure what message it gives to Rafa’s players, the new players or our young players. I’m fairly sure they all know we want Ashley out and whilst they’ll understand fans not going they’ll also want their focal support as well. Are the rest of the country or the media bothered, not in the slightest, it’ll be a talking point but that’s about it. This isn’t about apathy by the way if it was I’d be jacking it in. I’ll probably decide on Sunday what to do unless of course we sell Longstaff or someone just before the deadline on Thursday.
  15. This is ridiculous to be honest, nobody wants Ashley to still be here, not even Ashley himself. He’s got his price, and yes I’ve no doubt that he’ll be incredibly difficult to deal with and have SD tied in to all kind of club related things, but I think these potential buyers have been largely been chancers with huge question marks against whether they ever had the funds to buy the club. The bottom line for me is that if someone wants to buy the club then they’ll have to pay pretty much the asking price. Is the club worth the asking price, very possibly not. I don’t think Ashley will ever sell us when we’re out of the Premier League as he’ll not get his money back; we’d need to turn to complete shit for Ashley to sell and we could end up attracting Donald type buyers as Ashley’s parting fuck you. My stepson has jacked his ST in, I’m on the 10 year deal and like others have been paying for this season since February. I’ve boycotted before and no doubt will do so again; will I attend on Sunday, I really don’t know. The players haven’t done anything wrong, I didn’t want Bruce but he was never going to turn it down. Will boycotting tell Ashley something he already doesn’t know, I doubt it, will boycotting attract new buyers, I doubt it but it could encourage any out there to try low balling Ashley. Ultimately, Ashley is the disease, that should never be forgotten, polarising the fans and slagging fans, players or the manager off really has no place in all of this. I’d love to know the true story about these supposed bids. From what I’ve been told Rafa was offered a 8 year deal with a wage increase of £2M per year (seems a hell of a lot but there you go), he was also promised £50M plus revenue from sales in each of the next 2 seasons. Now we all know Ashley is a habitual liar and the money he is currently spending may well have not been given to Rafa however, we’re now told that Rafa decided in May that he was leaving. Rafa is meticulous in everything so the move to China must have been in the pipeline for quite some time prior to that and must have involved his family and his inner circle (those on the scouting side thought he’d be staying). I’ve also no doubt that the signings we’ve recently made are what the club wanted and Rafa didn’t want. Who knows what’ll happen about upgrading the Academy and Training facilities. Politically, Rafa has murdered Ashley and he goes with everyone’s best wishes. My one question is why Rafa didn’t make clear his intentions on his future sooner, no sooner had the club announced he’d be leaving that we learned that he was off to China something we’d all scorned at. This left the club in a ridiculous position (they believed he would stay) and I’ve no doubt put potential managers saying thanks but no thanks to the job. Rafa didn’t have to do that and if it was his parting get stuffed to Ashley it was one that also affected the team and has split some of the support. I’ve rambled through this and still don’t know if I’ll go on Sunday, I am convinced however that supporters slagging each other off will have Ashley laughing and is the last thing that Rafa would have wanted. Rafa bought into the club, the city and the fans, he knew the enemy and got out. It’s not that easy for the fans, that should be respected, do not underestimate the power of match attending fans as well, without those fans against Spurs Rafa would have left within a week of that game. Ashley Out.
  16. Honestly think he’ll prove you wrong in that team. My concern is that he thinks he’s a better footballer than he is; tell him to stick to defending he’s fine (bit like Adams perhaps) but he regularly does a bit of a dribble and ends up being rushed. First time I saw him up here with Leicester he ended up with the ball on the touch line around the halfway line, lost the ball and was left miles out of position. It’ll be interesting.
  17. £80M for Maguire is madness, he’s fucking massive but he’s not a leader, he thinks he can play out from the back and he’s not exactly quick. I’m really not convinced by him.
  18. That's weird, someone else said the Krafth deal had fallen through in a previous post. I’ll be honest I didn’t know who he was or that we’d already been linked but I was told this only a few hours ago. I was also told that Nsoki should be successfully resolved as well.
  19. Been told Austin and Krafth are incoming; Austin seems nailed on apparently.
  20. Looks like the type of player we’ll destroy in no time at all. Under Rafa we were tight and kept the ball reasonably well, we’re going to be surrendering possession all over the place if we play this lad, Joelinton and Miggy in the same team. Back to the days of conceding 4 goals on a fairly regular basis; our shape will be all over the place.
  21. Stepson canx his DD 2 days ago; ST arrived today in its presentation box ?
  22. Never forget, Pardew was and remains a monumental twat. I tried to push him away with my head. I apologise to everyone. I should not have got involved in it. Shut your noise, you old c***! The one thing I hate about other managers is waffle that is nowhere near the truth. I would never conduct myself like that. It's important that top clubs don't lose sight of the fact that it's the English Premier League and English players should be involved. https://giphy.com/gifs/xUNd9Oeru0BNTdZRe0/html5
