I thought he went down too easily looking for the foul.

Says a lot about these inbred backward c***s when they hero worship a bang average 2nd division clogger and refer to him as a legend. f***s sake it's like us giving the same kind of adoration to someone like David McCreery No it’s not. McCreery was a great player, way above Ball. Got an horrendous cut on his leg against Bolton right in front of me. Think it was a NYD and thought I was going to throw up. 60 stitches.

Folk just speculating about a case where a bloke was found not guilty where others seem to be speculating that the jury may have got it wrong. Admitted kissing her didn't he? So why go through an anonymous court case? Sell this fascinating story to the tabloids without it ("Gazza was drunk and kissed me on a train", Christ she'll be able to give up work ). I never stopped hearing about how the lass who accused Adam Johnson was after making her fortune, yet he was found guilty and I've not read her tale in The Sun, why is that? Could it be because there is rarely money to be made from accusing someone of a crime (in this country anyway) and it's a ludicrous myth that continues to persist? Most people who report crimes to the police do so because they feel they've been wronged and want the person to face justice... apart from when women accuse men of sexual assault of course. Then they're money grabbing slags. That last line is way out of order, can’t see anyone suggesting that.
-
They’re probably not widely reported but how many cases of unwanted drunken kisses end up in court? Takes no great leap of faith to suppose that a guilty verdict would have had some tabloids beating a path to her door for the scoop of the great train slobbery.
-
Maybe, or she thought she was assaulted by a drunk prick on a train. Did she have a witnesses to the assault; trains from York to Newcastle are hardly the Marie Celeste. Swap the drunken fool from Gazza to Joe Public and I’m fairly sure no complaint would have been made. If this had been serious enough I’d have thought others on the train would have got involved. If the police got hold of cctv tapes from Sgt Peppers on any Friday night they’d see loads of fat lass assaults, half of them by the fat lasses.

Fred was trying to intimidate him following a challenge, Matty went chest to chest and Fred took a dive. Fred must rank amongst the worst transfers for some time, he may operate ok in a good team with loads of time, possession and creative players beside him but in that Man U team he may as well be called Jack.
-
Amazing stuff today; 2 young local lads winning the midfield battle against Man U with the younger scoring the winner on debut. Comic book material, you really have to hope the best for them, it’s hard not to be absolutely buzzing for them.

That freeze frame showed the ball in motion, do they have the frame before to show it still? Even then the frame rate isn’t quick enough.

Was just about to post this ?

He was bought by a manager who was trying to build a side and knew where to play him. If that manager was still here he’d have had a pre season with him and he’d no doubt be playing in that position with players who also knew their roles. Unfortunately, his pre season consisted of around 2 weeks with pie face, players who don’t fit with his strengths and as a result he’s been pushed out wide right and looks completely lost. We’re completely ruining him. He clearly needs coaching and direction and it’s equally clear he’s not getting it.

There’s a reason why we’ve got Bruce, there’s a reason why we couldn’t get better. Forget Bruce, he’ll be gone soon enough, all this rests at Ashley’s door. Never forget or deviate from the real problem.
-
All this angst against Bruce is wrongly directed. Ashley is getting away with it, forget everything else, let’s concentrate on the real problem. Bruce is taking all the flak for Ashley.

This If you expect a 50:50 you go in a bit harder, if you go into a 50:50 soft you get injured and the 'aggressor' gets punished. Happens all the time Exactly. Praet jus hangs his leg in there, I don't get what Hayden can do differently. It's pissing it down, and the ball pops up 2 yards away. It was a 50/50 that the other guy bottled. If a player actually HAS control of the ball, and Hayden does a challenge like that, then it's a red. Agree with this. The challenge looks awful but Hayden wasn’t expecting the non challenge his way

Now you've gone and said it! ŷ Now you've gone and said it! Looks too good tbh.

I’d like to know what position he had Willems playing in the first half; were we playing 4 at the back or 3? Dummett was pulling inside as though it was a 3 with wing backs. If that was the case I’ve no idea what Willems was playing at as Brighton had as much time and space as they wanted out wide and if we were a 4 with Willems pushed forward I’ve still no idea what he was doing. It took Bruce almost 40 minutes to try and get some messages onto the pitch when he should have been screaming instructions after 10 minutes as this particular debacle was right in front of him with Montoya running down the line unchallenged time after time with Willems no where near.
-
Wow; that was awful. Outplayed, no tempo, no intensity and no idea. Bruce spent most of the match on the touchline with his hands in his pockets doing absolutely nothing. It took him 25 minutes to react to being over run by which time we could have been 3 down. I’ve no idea what formation we were playing but whatever it was Willems was like little boy lost. Complete shambles.

Ashley supposedly paid for Joelinton from his own money, this loan could pay him back Where is this seriously stated? Straight from fatty's own PR release, sorry, "interview" with Martin Samuel earlier this season. Said he told Rafa that he'd put 20 million of his own money in for the transfer because of the difference in how much they valued the player. So it was never seriously stated at all, it spewed out of a proven liars mouth during an interview consisting solely of bullshit? He’s told people in the club that he personally coughed up the money.
-
Not getting involved in the rights or wrongs of this (other than suggesting that he’s not the brightest or nicest person I’ve met and clearly has made racist remarks for which he’s been sanctioned) but that bastion of righteousness RTG’s take on this is staggering.

Will be interesting to see what they do. Given their combined wealth why take on Sunderland when for relatively not much more they could have taken over much better placed, comparable or bigger clubs? They could conceivably be investing at Sunderland’s lowest ebb and sell at a profit when they get back to the PL which I suppose could make them £150M or so between them but that would involve quite an investment in players. If they’re looking to invest in the area and make money there then it’d be great for the Sunderland area and they could become a bit of problem as a club.

Pretty much. He's a fantastic player all around. A bit suss defensively at times, but that's okay. Still a massive plus for what he brings to the team. Pause this on 7 seconds and tell me how it’s poor positioning? We’ve got two defenders tear arsing up Firmino’s backside, he’s watching Mane...it’s just a class flick that takes them all out. Shelvey doesn’t track the runner (Salah) and that was always going to be a goal. The giant massive gap about 20 yards wide that Salah strolls into, it's not just him - it's others in the unit as well. The three centre backs become far too narrow and the gap to the full back is disgrace. Some other big mistakes in there than Schar's positioning mind. From the very start of the play the shape has gone, Schar is on a different line to his other two centre backs, and they never regain their proper shape. These things are normal, you know. We are playing one of the best teams in the land and all their players and manager are far superior to ours. Forget about anything else, Shelvey should know Salah is going for a 1-2 and instead of blocking Salah off giving away a fairly safe free kick, he actually moves to avoid Salah. The move should have been stopped before it got going. The 2nd goal was a disgrace, wtf was Atsu thinking and was Dub’s being a little cowardly? Liverpool didn’t play well and though they might have been able to step it up we should feel we missed an opportunity here.

What an abortion of a goal

Could do without Firminho coming on
