If we get Townsend and Palace make a 2M profit I'd take that. Palace have just paid around the same amount for a defender who can't defend but can run and sometimes scores goals; quite often when he shouldn't be anywhere near the positions he gets into. Have to say though that we still need a good midfield player more than we need Townsend right now. God help us if anything happens to Shelvey. Rafa must see this.

Happened pretty close to me; the ball was spinning like crazy and his first touch was a belter. I was expecting to see the ball fly into the crowd.

If he's walked off and hasn't tried to see if he can carry on that doesn't sound trivial. He clearly knows he's got a problem.

I've never rated Downing, really don't see what he does regularly well that could change games. No pace, doesn't take defenders on, scores rarely but can deliver a decent cross. No denying he's made a canny career for himself.

Studs tend to make a hole and have no edge, blades, if they penerate the skin tend to slice it open due to their shape. If the keeper was wearing studs then that's one hell of an impact.

Sissoko has absolutely no idea how to play on the left. He can barely kick a ball with his left

Keeper did nowt wrong. Loooking at the cut I'm assuming the keeper had blade studs and imo they should have been banned ages ago, they simply slice open skin and are extremely dangerous. You can get a nasty hole with normal studs but they rarely slice open a wound like blades do.
