Who's that team in white? Fuck off Nike
-
He was poorly handled by the club but I hope loses his case. There are plenty of players frozen out and we have done it to others as well, we'd loaned him to Norwich which was a fairly clear indication that he wasn't wanted. His goal against West Ham is how I want to remember him not as someone taking a punt on getting money out of the club. If he wins and donates the money to cancer research I'll gladly cheer him on.

Pretty sure I heard 'you support a paedophile' or something like that. Not too often though. There was a great chant of that in the first twenty minutes It's a pathetic chant. Was sung early on but not much. The Mackems were singing Paedo at Cisse when he came on which was embarrassing. Johnson really didn't get much stick at all. Anyone know what was going on at the dug outs when Mitro got knocked out? There appeared to be hell on for a few moments. He wanted to go back on but as it was a head injury, Rafa and the doctors didn't want him to. Think he meant before that. Looked like there were handbags between the benches. No idea over what though. Aye, that's what I was on about. I think our bench might have suggested an elbow had been used and it kicked off a bit.

Think he needs to start at Norwich and Perez to make an impact from the bench. We were very poor in the first half yesterday and unless we take a control of the midfield next week we're unlikely to win. Our link up play was awful until he came on.

Yes, we took far too long celebrating, we needed to win and time was running out. I was however far more pissed off that the referee only gave 4 minutes injury time; he'd booked Mannone for time wasting, Mitro had been knocked out and they'd wasted time for the entire second half. 4 fucking minutes, there was 6 minutes added onto a recent home game (a West Brom?) when you'd be lucky to find 2 minutes.

Janmaat was limping when he came off. We were awful first half, second to most balls, too slow in possession and gave them far too much time to get organised. Sissoko was ineffective and Gini struggled to pose any kind of threat. Kirchhoff controlled the midfield first half. Rafa's got a hell of a job on his hands, we were second best today and will not catch Sunderland unless we improve by a considerable margin. We have to beat Norwich, that means creating and scoring goals away from home.

A natural finisher does not air kick goal scoring chances, earlier this season when we did create the odd chance I can think of 3 great opportunites he had where he missed the ball completely. That's 3, where he should have scored and he missed the ball completely. He's got something about him but he's not quick and he's not a natural finisher. He'll be a handful in The Championship.

I'd have taken a draw at Norwich, not now.

West Brom were awful when we played down there and we didn't go for it.

We need an early goal, everyone knows this and I expect Fat Sam is planning on making the first 20 minutes truly awful and hope the nerves kick in from the crowd and players. Sissoko needs to turn up and Gini has got to disrupt their defensive shape. Rafa will need to spend most of the game in the technical area keeping the players at it. This game has echoes of the Play Off game, there is an expectation for us to win simply because we are at home and we have Rafa however, Sunderland are in better form and have the players who can hurt us. Hopefully Defoe and Borini both have unfortunate accidents in the next 24 hours.

Keeper has to cover his near post and he turns away from it. He made a great save earlier but that was poor.

He was always going to be targeted but on the whole he did ok. It was never a foul on Mahrez, he got close and Mahrez dived, the ref clearly thought he'd give a free kick as it didn't look like a dangerous position. You could argue that Colback got too close but then again you can't stand too far off. The ref gave a good few soft decisions to them and we had a clear penalty turned away. I'm amazed more hasn't been made of it.

What I never get about the Anita supporters is the argument trotted out about his technical ability yet he regularly misplaces 10 yard passes when under no pressure and positions where we're left completely exposed. He puts a shift in and makes the odd interception. Other than that he is a waste of space. I'm really not sure what Rafa can do to improve his inability to complete a simple pass. I'm not gong to accept lack of time on the pitch or confidence, Rafa picked him in his first game in charge last night and he had a very important job to do. Christ knows who we play on Sunday, do we put Colback there, do we take a punt with Saivet or do we stick with Anita, Hobson's choice. If ever we needed an early goal it's going to be Sunday.

I think Rafa will be watching this through closed fingers. Janmaat has stay in position, Colback was all over the place the last time he played full back and the Taylor/ Lascelles pairing is going to be fun against this lot. Oh Dear. -

Rafa will try and keep us compact and competitive tonight. The huge problem with that is that their midfield is harder working than ours and Mahrez and Vardy will tear us open wide the moment we lose our shape. Janmaat will be told not to bomb forward and I pray for Taylor, whoever and Dummett. I think he'll play Mitro as a lone striker hoping he can hold the ball up otherwise we risk simply spending all game giving the ball back to them. I can't see us scoring from open play (ha ha as is we ever do away from home) but I would try exposing Simpson somehow. Anita could we'll find himself in front of the back four or be told to man mark Mahrez. Personally, I wouldn't be starting Gini tonight as Leicester are the type of team where he will be completely anonymous (more so than usual) away from home. As mad as it sounds I'd be half tempted to play Squidward, purely because of his pace and play Sissoko inside and tell him if he's not at the races by half time he'll be off. I'd be telling Anita to get Shelvey on the ball and for Shelvey to keep hitting Squidward or Mitro and for Sissoko to join up and be the force he should be. We're not going to be pretty to watch tonight and Rafa will play whoever he thinks will run through walls for 90 minutes and who will stay rigid to his plan. It'll be interesting to see how vocal we are on the pitch tonight. Rafa has this game to see a reaction and start planning for next Sunday. -
Man U will argue he should have been sent off for a second yellow
