  1. Group of them have given a lad a kicking outside The Labour Club. Police been nearby businesses asking if they know anything.
  2. I now have vouchers for 7 tickets; just need to work out how to turn these into match tickets.
  3. How much? I thought you needed to have a Belgian passport to buy them or something? 50€ for lower south, 70€ for upper. I'm getting these via Brussels so if it us a voucher then collect in person then that's an added step and a trip to Brugge for them. They're making it bloody hard enough.
  4. Bruges now selling 2 match tickets for Nufc and Bordeaux. Trying to get tickets for the South Stand next to where our allocation will be housed. Will look to sell the Bordeaux ticket cheaply when I'm there.
  5. The whistle goes before the challenge and in plenty time for Tiote to avoid the challenge. We may be talking about hundredths of seconds but still plenty time to pull out if he'd wanted too.
  6. It wasn't a nothing challenge; it got him sent off. A nothing challenge is exactly what he should have done - not made any challenge. I don't think it deserved a red but I am sure there was no need to test a referree who is usually card happy. Pardew will have spoken to the players about this
  7. We can debate how bad a challenge it was all day; surely the point is that the whistle had been blown, he must have heard it and still put the foot in. He may have thought he'd get a talking to or a yellow as Atkinson had let a few things go (Larrson) up to that point, it was a needless, stupid, challenge. He gave the ref a decision to make and there was no need to do it.
  8. No need for the challenge - stupid at best.
  9. Falcao (A Madrid) followed Tino when he was here: Speaking to The Times, he said: “England? One day, I could go. It is a game I have watched for a long time and one day I would like to sample it. “I used to watch it on television when I was a kid. Players like Roy Keane, Eric Cantona, (Gianfranco) Zola. But the one I supported was (Faustino) Asprilla, when he was at Newcastle. “I think I could adapt to England. I think I could score goals.”
  10. I think he actually goes on it aswell... This was on RTG about 3 days ago.
  11. Zidane played in a position where he could dominate a game more than the likes of Messi and other great forwards. He was a fantastic player, an interesting comparison would be with Platini, they both had fantastic technical ability but were so different in how they went about their business on the pitch. Zindane was a real physical prescence.
  12. Stupid booking, never a foul. Piss poor passing throughout the game - again. Very important player - not playing well.
  13. Bruges are being cute with their home tickets. You need a Belgian IP, a Belgian Passport number (both of which I can overcome) however, they are only selling tickets as a 3 game package starting at 75€. They have however allocated 4 sections to away supporters which means that Bordeaux and Maritimo are in line to get more tickets than us as 4 sections is around 3000 fans. Hopefully, they will have to rethink the home sales or give us more - unless they are happy to use the empty sections as segregation.

    Alan Pardew

8 years; he must still owe some serious money to the casino. They own him now; their bitch - sell Tiote bitch, sell Cabaye bitch.
  15. Neither has Cisse, Ben Arfa, Cabaye or Jonas
  16. Had nowt for the Breda game, but a fair few of us ended up in the home end after getting pally with the locals and taking their tickets off them in return for cash/shirts/booze. Would have had a cracking time even without getting in tbf. We had no trouble either - there was a few Nufc fans other than us in there as well. I also went to Alkmaar and couldn't get a ticket and watched the 1st half in a mad Alkmaar bar, 3 of us stumbled in with Nufc tops on; they were ok but asked us to leave at HT - it was wall to wall full of Alkmaar stuff and some of them were a but miffed that we thought it was ok to just walk in and start drinking instead of just turning around and walk out.
  17. If Brugge continue to stick to their guns they are going to cause a good few needless incidents. I ended up in the home end in Heerenveen and can see the same happening here.
  18. Alan Parry can't tell the difference between Ba and Cisse the useless git.
  19. Maritimo must be a good bet on Thursday. This is quite frankly pitiful so far.
  20. We're not closing down and look leaderless and completely disorganised. Could be embarrassing. And please stop hoofing the ball up to Cisse who is yards off the pace and never going to win a header all night.
  21. Anyone stopping in Hotel du Faisan in Bordeaux?
  22. A majority of songs in the 80's were to intimidate, very few were witty. Black players got racist songs, gingers got ginger songs, fat players got pie songs, small players got dwarf songs etc. All of these songs were intended to highlight the differences. None of it was right; yet nothing was done to stop it. Not for a long time. Surprised the Gayle and Bennett sendings off haven't been mentioned in the 3-1 Derby game. They got absolute pelters that day. Gayle became a bit of a hero here; I was at Grimsby where I think he scored 2 (may have been 1) on a Boxing Day and so did Tony Cunningham who it has to be said was fairly s**** for us. The t*** usually had a belter when he played for Sheff Wed against us. I was at a Sland game when Paul Cannoville dislocated his knee; it was awful and he got dogs abuse.
  23. Paris is less than 2 hours from Uk, Paris to Bordeaux is 3 something. We're stopping with a mate on the Wed night and getting the 6.24 on Thurs morning to Paris then the Tgv to Bordeaux - we'll be in Bordeaux early afternoon. We're getting the Tgv around 8.30 the Friday morning which should be fun - may need to stay up.
