No. Straight into the Group Stage.

Thought the cross was slightly behind Havertz for that header.

They were 2-0 down early on and pretty much dead and buried. You wouldn’t expect that Wimbledon team to lose from that position for sure.
-
Everton beat Bournemouth imo. How they beat Arsenal and Brighton is beyond me. Plus a ridiculous late screamer from Keane against Spurs and Wolves gifting a goal in the 109th minute. They’ll just not go away. Go way back to that game against Wimbledon all those years ago.

Loads of empty seats ?♂️

When did they sign Enciso? He’s rapid, direct and can glide passed players. I can’t believe he wasn’t widely scouted by other clubs. Actually, why wasn’t Miggy all over it?

That 3rd strip will cause all kinds of problems when Pope comes out to pluck a ball out of the air.

Would love to hear Shearer’s thoughts on Bruce now. Can’t have it both ways Alan. Same goes for many many pundits and journalists; especially those who also told us we should be thankful of Ashley. Thankful for holding us back eh, for 14 years.
-
Just need to state the facts before, during and now after Ashley with a smattering of how we should have thankful of his benevolence and the wisdom of over achieving Bruce. A Star Wars type opening, setting the scene would do it.

Paddy Power odds for next season are out. They must know something, 15/2 second favourites is absolute bonkers.

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)
Tsunami replied to Marko NUFC's topic in Football
Getting into home ends is really down to how hard the home club make it. We were in the home end for Bruges and for that you needed a Belgian IP address for the online application and then you had to collect the tickets from the stadium in advance of the game. Luckily one of the lads had a Brussels office and a bloke bought the tickets and popped over to get them. We were also in the home end at Herenveen and from memory that was fairly easy. -
Well yeah, I’m sure Alan penned that. Thank you.

Thought they’d scored, great save. Top keeper.

Leeds are going to lose this. They can’t get up the pitch- Sam will go long at some point and stick a CB up top.

RAWK is great, we’ve not won anything yet and they’re terrified. I’ve got to assume these are “fans” who picked Liverpool as they win things and well, it’s not fair. Was it 18 mins additional time they had added yesterday to see if they could score a winner? Yeah, Newcastle are likely to be vying with Man City for the top 2 places in England going forward and no amount of 'rules' are going to stop them unless they're strictly adhered to and teams are heavily punished for breaking them. And heavily punished means at least stripping them of anything they've won while cheating, together with additional punishments like devotions, transfer bans etc. Cheating c*nts.

Don’t get me wrong; he didn’t have a future here once injured as his extension clause wasn’t going to be activated and, we’d outgrown him. He knew that and made a family security decision to leave when he could have stayed and picked up a Caraboa Cup medal. When he’s not motivated he’s a waste of a shirt anywhere, any league. He seems to genuinely like it up here and the club. Someone mentioned ‘boro, sounds a good shout but Forest would have take a nominal fee and pay the bulk of his salary. Would serve the daft fuckers right, you can’t sign someone on those wages and fall out like this after 10 games or so.
-
He worked his socks off pre season, was bought into Eddie, got injured and left when Forest offered stupid money. He came back up the night he signed to watch us play, bringing up wood as well and got dragged into the dressing room photo. He had his moments for sure, but, the stars and players of this NUFC clearly like him. I can’t help but feel he’s a complex bloke and needs well managed. He’s a Mag, good luck to him, hope here’s there on Monday.

We’ll done Carlisle
