We’ll that’s my FF team hammered as well ?. If that’s true lump on Brighton.
-
Can’t be Forest, they’re in the middle of signing Dennis for 20M. They can’t have anything left. Wolves or us I reckon.

He clearly loves it up here and said years ago that this would be his home. Seem to remember a tale that after an injury to Dubs or Darlow that he couldn’t be on the bench (Saturday 3pm game) as he was going out with the wife.
-
Win the coin toss and you choose to kick off or switch ends. Some managers believe it’s an advantage if we attack the Gallowgate in the second half. When The Leazes was the home end pretty sure we attacked that 2nd half (memory from Super Mac’s home debut and watching the abandoned Forest game the other day, and McFaul running away from Rangers fans).

Think it was just unfortunate in the way he went in for that challenge. He didn’t appear to overstretch. He had a personal trainer with him over the pre preseason, and in Turkey when he was on “holiday”. Wife has a friend who was in the same holiday and posted a photo with him, Shelvey in socks and sliders. His preparation looks spot on, if you’re saying he was more likely to pick up an injury as he was more conditioned that might be true. He was already looking in better shape under Howe and the medical team would have individual plans for players to improve fitness/ conditioning to reduce the risk of injury.

That’s a shocker tbh. Leaves us looking a little light. We need back up for Wilson and if we can get Maddison/ Paqueta in then that’s now more of a priority for me than a right winger. Willock has an injury in him and Longstaff isn’t good enough imo. Anderson; huge risk. Gutted for Shelvey, seems he’s really bought into Howe and had worked hard even before pre-season.

Jo is definitely more Diame than Tiote. Tiote rarely got into the final 3rd and didn’t carry the ball, he broke up play and passed it. One for absolute certain, he’s no Dyer. Would add that Dyer breaking the lines alongside Bruno would be an absolute joy. At his best Dyer was almost unplayable when he made those runs.
-
At this point Broja would be ideal imo. Right wing is a bit of a conundrum, Fraser is ok, Miggy is looking a bit better but he can barely stand on his right front never mind kick a ball with it. Shelvey and Willock are ok as the 3rd midfield player, especially with Bruno and Jo in there. There’s a drop off when we then introduce Longstaff and Anderson could benefit from another loan. If say Diaby and Pacqueta can wait a year and we can start doing deals I’m quite happy with a loan striker and sit tight. I’d absolutely take Maddison but that gone very quiet.

We need back up for Wilson but there’s no doubt we’re looking at loan options having missed out on Ekitike. For elsewhere we should only buy if it’s a clear upgrade, be that midfield or right wing. We looked very capable yesterday and if it means keeping our powder dry & helping with ffp/ waiting til our revenue increasing through sponsorship I’m happy with that. We have to be shrewd and it’s seems pretty clear that’s how we’re approaching this.

Haha, elbow in the middle of the back; no problem, carry on.

You tried getting a signal?
-
He did ok tbf. Taken in context.
-
New tvs in the concourses and I believe they’ve not managed that, oh, and a Wi-Fi signal would be fucking magic.

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)

If we only have 40M left on our budget for this window then that was never going to get Maddison and following some really sound transfers, why would we ignore more pressing positions? If not getting Maddison means we get a decent back up striker and a winger then let’s hope we don’t get Maddison. Really hoping that we’re just circling and about to bring in 2 or 3 next level players. -
Just switched this on. Is Clark playing on the right of a back 3? Feels like trouble if so.
-
Aye quite obvious why she doesn’t start now.
-
We’re looking leggy.
-
Need to step it up,

Great finish

Ellen White is unbelievably lucky to be starting matches, Russo looks so much better.
-
Ref going out her way not to be a homer so far.

Lascelles couldn’t get a start ahead of Schar and Burn, there’s no way he should be picked against Forest. Start of last season Lascelles gave away something like 3 penalties in the 1st 4 games or so. Got to be Botman and Schar.
