The fact that they don't even send the ref over to the screen for those ones makes it even worse. No idea how he kept his cool as the ref ran past after ruling it out.

You can really see why he was earmarked as Milan's future captain, like. He raises the performance levels of those around him and makes up for any drop in these levels through his sheer persistence. I want him to score more goals purely as a reward for his play, not because we need him to. Must be horrendous to play against.

Yeah, a frustrating night but no shame in that performance. We had Barcelona time wasting in stoppage-time. Rashford the difference maker, who'd have thought it? Atmosphere-wise, it was a tremendous first half from where I was in the Leazes west corner but it fizzled out a bit in the second half after the goals. Wor Flags outdid themselves. I still struggle with what some people get from the match, like. The two young lads and a bloke sat next to me spent the whole game just whinging about our performance, interjected with ridiculous abusive rants at Barca players. If only they spent half as much effort on getting behind the lads as they did on berating Harvey Barnes. A final sour note goes to the club's ticketing fiasco. Their shambles of a tout-friendly membership system led to a young lad getting in with his Barca top on. He didn't jump up for the goals or anything. The stewards let him in wearing his Messi shirt and let him sit there all match, then promptly booted him out at 0-2. This resulted in the poor lad getting some disgusting abuse from a toon fan along the row (who did get told to shut the fuck up from some of our lot in fairness).

In fairness to TBG, they haven't won a CL game this season.

One of the biggest issues is that no one knows what the club are actually doing because their communication on the issue is shocking. They're opening themselves up to wild accusations like them being in cahoots with ticket resellers. Even giving the cloob the benefit of the doubt, they're complicit in the whole mess due to their inaction/ignorance/appetite to milk members.

It's a better story than them admitting they bought them from touts and had them cancelled by the club when (and only when) news outlets got wind of it.
