Don’t think it’s very secret he already said hello in the welcome back thread Hoogen[/member], innit.

Aye, Adidas or Umbro for me, like. Both would hit those retro feels quite nicely.

Shocking article and looks like he’s taken it down Just makes me even more hopeful that this takeover does goes through to spite the lot of them Still there: https://www.newstatesman.com/politics/sport/2020/05/newcastle-fans-back-club-s-takeover-saudi-arabia-do-they-bear-moral

Guessing this was the one?
-
People turning their noses up at Ramsey, man.
-
Thread title's a bit insensitive, imo. Can you share a BT Sport subscription? As in, could it be used on 2 devices at once?
-
I still can't believe how utterly minging the proposed buildings are. They're gonna be a massive fucking eyesore.
-
Probably Staveley then...she has a habit of tipping people off with things that don't happen sadly. You absolutely thrive on negativity, like.

They're legit, have no fears. Bought me dad the asics blue star beach towel a few months back.

I don't care if it's Qatar releasing the story. It's one we should be discussing seriously. It's not enough to simply acknowledge wrong-doing. A man was murdered for criticising a regime. That does not deserve death. Why should we ? It’s got nothing to do with football, if your going to attach the murder to the purchase of the club then also discuss it in relation to live nation, Warner brothers and other Saudi purchases. No one is disputing the murder is horrendous, it’s the hypocrisy that the sale of nufc should be stopped whilst all these other deals go throughout without a murmur. The one thing this deal won’t be stopped on is human rights, it would put the premier league at odds with the policy of the U.K. government. What is blatantly happening here is human rights lawyers are using the high profile nature of this sale to gain publicity, as they know the Saudis buying stakes in other companies just doesn’t draw the same attention. You can’t blame them for this as this is their job, however what I strongly object to is the notion that we should sacrifice the chance of a lifetime for our city and club, If this was blocked these same people would move on to their next cause and wouldn’t give a s%#t about us. So whilst I acknowledge and understand the human rights aspect, ths hypocrisy expecting us to be line drawn in the sand with Saudis doesn’t wash with me and many others. Spot on Whitley Mag. 100% agree with you here, everything you said is spot on. Nail on head Because we argued Ashley was a human rights abuser and used that angle in some of our protesting. Makes us look a tad hypocritical if we say nowt. It really doesn't; targeting SD was just a means to an end. None of us would have given a toss about SD if he ran the club properly, nit was all about putting pressure on him any way we could. That's not to say we shouldn't be excusing the atrocities made by our new owners mind. Yep.

Wey, he's not really saying that, is he?

I was in no way suggesting it's someone trolling fans, like. It's just very obviously an unofficial blog as ponsaelius says.

Look at the state of the website you're quoting, man. You might as well be on nufcblog

Totally forgot about Bruce. He probably comes in between Dalglish and Allardyce.
-
This is near enough exactly what I was talking about: https://twitter.com/_NE28/status/1258054947536621568?s=19

I can only really go with those times I can actually remember, so that unfortunately rules out KK's first spell and kind of begins at the backend of Dalgish's reign. 1. Robson - Some brilliant years, man. Competing up there with the very best in the league and in Europe 2. Rafa - Gave us hope and showed us not to be careful what we wished for but to wish for something better 3. Hughton - An all-round top bloke who did a commendable job under some ridiculous circumstances 4. Keegan round 2 - It was doomed from the start but there were glimpses of what could have been. Owen in the hole was a masterstroke 5. Roeder - Did a superb job as caretaker but should never have been allowed to go beyond that. Alkmaar 6. Gullit - Gave us another memorable cup run and had the decency to walk when things went south 7. Dalglish - Buggered things up but took us to Wembley and we had the Barca night 8. Allardyce - Would've most likely stabilised things but gave us some of the worst performances ever witnessed at SJP (Hi Derby, Pompey) 9. Souness - Started the ball rolling for our demise, the miserable prick 10. Pardew - Probably gave us the worst performances at SJP and was a horrible cunt to boot. But 5th! 11. McClaren - Has there been a more hapless manager/"head coach"? 12. Kinnear - Beyond the initial swear-filled rant there wasn't much to laugh about 13. Fucking Carver

Complements the Athletic article from Saturday very well.
-
Groan. Ludicrous that, like. Weird.
-
I mean, there were definitely flickers and flashpoints over the years when he could've quite easily recovered and been allowed to continue owning the club without any further protest. But that never happened because he's a relentless thundercunt.
-
I thought it was a well written, objective look at things but there's still umpteen toon fans piling in on twitter to attack his agenda. Some of them openly admitting that they haven't read the piece.
-
Decent piece in The Athletic about Saudi Arabia and why they want to invest, specifically surrounding MBS and what's happened since he came to power. https://theathletic.com/1788335/2020/05/02/why-does-saudi-arabia-want-to-buy-newcastle-united?source=user-shared-article

Keegan Treatment - set the precedent for how people would be treated by the regime, regardless of their standing. Joe Kinnear twice - needs no justification. The Pardew years - he fucking enabled the behaviour above him. He should have never been near the club. Jonas Cancer Disgrace - I mean, howay. Renaming the stadium - "I'll do what I like as it's my club and you lot upset me."
-
I wish people would fuck off with stuff like this. Go to Twitter for your baiting attempts. You Bit LOL.
