  1. Such a condescending arsehole. Bruce, not Yorkie.
  2. That was a much more tolerable performance. Darlow was superb. I can't see a way in for Dubravka at the moment, he'll have to wait it out even if he's back to full fitness. Wilson does make such a difference, like. He's deceptively quick and strong.
  3. I think we all knew even without Brummies warning. Oh aye, of course. He was always going to provide archaic football and never own up to his shortcomings, but I didn't think I'd hate him as much as I do so quickly. He's way worse than Pardew at this point.
  4. He's everything Brummie warned us he would be and more.
  5. I read The Athletic Rafa article after the match. Really shouldn't have.
  6. Up to a certain point in the second half it was 88%, yeah. Ended up being 75% overall so we made a few more passes as the half went on. What a time to be alive.
  7. Someone mock up a poster please.
  8. He's just a fucking soundboard. Nothing he says ever has any meaning. What is it that you actually do on the training ground, Steve? Walk your dog? Defeatist cunt.
  9. Carlton Cole  Would loved to have called in and asked him if Sharron Elkabas put him up to it https://mn2s.com/booking-agency/talent-roster/carlton-cole/ https://mn2s.com/booking-agency/talent-roster/steve-bruce/ Arseholes.
  10. Incredible Where's that from? I think he's surpassed the King here. What a knacker.
  11. What is there to look forward to when we play, man? It's soul-destroying stuff to watch. There can't be anybody out there of sound mind who still supports Bruce, Shirley? 4 strikers on the pitch at the end was just typical of the way we approach each match; no fucking idea. Shelvey as captain perfectly encapsulates the state we're in and the way the club is run. A chancer who should be nowhere near the first 11, let alone armband.
  12. There's an animated NUFC series in this, for sure. Who does them again, Nobody[/member] ? Edit: Kasper[/member] sorry!
  13. Not sure. PM me for more information.

    On this day...

Yeap, that week was immense. I remember a massive fat bloke screaming at me and my brother "WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!" in the Leazes concourse as we left the Middlesbrough match on Boxing Day. Great times. We had 39 points at the halfway point of the season, man. That's outrageous.

    On this day...

I remember listening on the radio. I nearly smashed through my bedroom floor in celebration.
  16. "Allow me to demonstrate this point by showing you how class everything is at my club." (I'm just jealous) A nice bit of objectivity is nice now and again. I can't get too angry at Longstaff. He's not the one keeping himself on the field. He badly needs a bit of time out of the side but even if that happens, we all know the real issue is the total lack of direction from the guy in the dugout. I'd love to see him get back to the form he showed under Rafa but it ain't gonna happen under Bruce. I think the best option for him would be a January loan move to get himself back on track at a club where he'd receive some actual half-decent coaching.
  17. I'm so jealous of that lot having Bielsa, like. Night and day.
  18. I’m actually worried for him tonight. Looks shot and can barely jog. It's ridiculous that he's been left out there for the whole game. He looks shot to pieces, both physically and mentally.

    St James' Park

I absolutely adore its lopsidedness and I'd hate to see us move away from SJP for most of the reasons listed by Haydn above. It's already architecturally imposing in its current location, fantastically so. I'll never understand this ravenous desire some people have for a brand new site. It's all pie in the sky stuff at the moment anyway, so in this little fantasy land I'd buy the Strawberry Place land back and expand over it in some way. Some sort of sloping design that meets with a renovated East Stand would be ideal.

    St James' Park

It's location and the fact that we've always played there for 128 years is too much for me to move and knock it down, like. Just work on ways to attempt to expand it and just completely clean up and modernise the place. Take it out of 2004 (which is probably the last time work was done to it) and into the 2020s.
  21. I always think injuries can sometimes improve the team selection when it comes to managers like Bruce and Pardew. Yeap, I remember Glenn Roeder doing better when we had lots of injuries. Pardew did in that season we finished 5th when injuries forced him to start Ben Arfa in the same side as Ba and Cisse. When did we have that bout of viral conjunctivitis that saw the players getting changed in their cars? That was under Bobby wasn't it? Players had to train at home for a bit.
