Where's the abuse? He's not ready to lead the line for a relegation-candidate club. The absolute opposite of what we need. We need experience and a proven track record, and Defoe was that player. And we won't get that player now will we? so get behind the lads that we do have especially this one who actually gives a f*** to the fans and the club. Wow what a crapshoot of a post Assuming a bit much are we? Despite your assertions, I want Mitrovic to do well for us. The fact is, he can't at this moment in time, because he's too raw. He's been bullied off the ball by every centre back in the league, even Shola had more presence than Mitro does for a supposed imposing target man. He can't hold the ball up because his first touch is, again to compare with Shola, as abysmal as his is. In fact the only thing I can see different between Mitro and Shola is the desire to win, and for this I like the player. I don't even care if he doesn't hit double figures this season as long as he can effectively hold the ball up and lay it off to another player. As for 'getting behind the player because he gives a f***', I suppose you're one of the people who were disappointed when we appointed Rafa Benitez and didn't bring back John Carver. Desire isn't everything, it's certainly a factor in performance, but desire alone won't win you games. Who the f*** is one of those people besides some dude made of straw? Plenty of examples on Facebook of those inclined Not any I can recall on here mind. Without checking Facebook, I'm pretty sure that literally no-one who wasn't trolling wanted Carver over Benitez.

That Madeline McCann should share some of the blame for going missing as well. She knew what she was doing when she went off with a stranger.

Rafa says he won't recall him. Ryder makes an impossible poll. http://i.imgur.com/CldHGhx.png

She's not getting anything, the costs go to the prosecution. She's a victim, she hasn't paid any fees. There won't be a civil action. Can she sue for damages?
-
If that was the case why did we put him back in for the last few games when we knew we couldn't trigger it?
-
Allardyce sounds a bit dejected - I think denying Sunderland the momentum they need to take into the last few games is more important than the point itself.
-
He's clearly a tactical genius, we're all over here doing our Dowie face to his subs, he's clearly changing the game with each one. I didn't understand the subs at the time but fuck me the guy knows what he's doing! We're just not used to it. When Pardew brought on a striker for a left back, we knew the shape's not changing and he was just slotting in out of position.

Why did Sunderland get upset when we poached Colback?
-
Rafa knows Sam's tactics better than Sam does.

Back in my day... Sounds like Abe Simpson.

Just reminded me of someone who gets paid to do this. Let's have a look at his table: http://i.imgur.com/JyBkosa.png I think the worst thing about this is that he does it week by week, but doesn't adapt as the season goes on. He keeps predicting Leicester to lose and Chelsea to win every game. West Ham on 20 points FFS.

RTG always makes me lighten up before a derby. Michael Martin tweeted about Sunderland on derby day, so they started a thread saying "obsessed marra" and "we're his world" and within a few posts they're looking up where he lives on Google Maps for some reason (I think to prove where he lives is actually classed as Wearside or something). And of course, the good old how many cans have you had already?, where people get called poofs for drinking coffee at 8am.

Cram told BBC Sport: "We have to win, but both teams need to win - it's a nine-pointer game if there is such a thing." There isn't such a thing. Fuck off Cram.
-
Remember Pardew only had them training attacking one day a week, and McClaren probably didn't even do that. It's no wonder no-one can hit a barn door after that. Rafa will get them scoring again.
-
I don't hate McClaren because of the apathy the previous few years of the Pardew/Carver reign had drilled into me. I find it hard to even care about him.
-
Managers with lots of experience fighting relegation battles only have that experience because they're not good enough to manage at the top.
-
It's really refreshing listening to Liverpool fans who only have good things to say about him. When was the last time we got a manager who was universally loved by fans of his old club?
-
Wouldn't our highest paid director be McClaren?
-
Imagine if McClaren hadn't turned us down this time last year. We'd already be in the Championship.
-
Loads of teams have only just been able to say that. They had the best manager of all time for almost three decades.

Remember when Cisse tweeted that he was happy here, then Ryder used about four tweets to repeat what he'd said, but adding stuff like "Cisse says". Then he wrote an article about it.

Before yesterday I wouldn't have said we could realistically get Benitez.
