Bit of exaggerating, no? A shithouse of a professional, yes. But as a human being? I haven't heard anything... Him buggering off from Sheffield Wednesday doesn't show him up in a good light really. More of a shithouse professional rather than a shithouse human. Sheffield Wednesday treated him well with something on a very human and personal level. Nothing to do with football. Bit of a grey one as he was still operating as a 'professional'. That's fair enough. If he'd left for an unbelievable job at a top six club, I could understand it, but to leave them to come to Mike Ashley's NUFC is all I need to know. I personally wouldn't buy any argument about it being his boyhood club.

I do but in the same way as Brentford. They had it in their hands but blew it. They didn't turn up in the games before today enough. They lost 1-4 to us. That's not impressive.

Villa will celebrate tonight but what odds they are in the same position next season.

Fair enough but if I were the owner or manager I wouldn't play him unless he committed himself to the club. You do that to a player with influence in the squad and you're well on the way to losing the dressing room. You can't manage a squad in a black and white way like that.

Over the years, we've all heard players say in interviews that they signed for [insert club] because the manager really made them feel wanted. Dropping him from the squad isn't going to make Matty feel like that.

Didn't Douglas or GC say even the buyers are now not saying what questions they are answering from the PL? If Jacobs is correct then it must be a leak from the PL. You'd think that if it was fully credible and confidential information leaked from the PL, the buyer and/or especially Ashley, would be all over it like a rash, suing the PL for breaching the NDA.

Hey mate, it's been 30 LONG YEARS. I mean, can you imagine the pain and suffering they've had to endure during that time.
