  1. He was way over the top of the ball. It could have been an horrific leg break.
  2. "What a horrible week for Ryan Nelson". Yes. Being sent off in a football match is nearly as bad as your home city being demolished by an Earthquake. Fuck me.
  3. The BBC love to show fans leaving early.
  4. Fucking Hell. I've only just heard about this. Terribly sad RIP.
  5. For some reason, watching those heads go across, in my head I am singing Dad's Army's "Who do you think you are kidding Mr Hitler".

Some great old SJP photos there CP40
  7. Abso-bloody-lutely. West Stand Paddock for that one. Utter mayhem. I actually came on here to say that as we haven't won a great deal, my greatest moment was probably David Kelly's goal away to Grimsby in 1993 to finally clinch promotion to the Premier League. It was the first time I felt we had truly achieved something by winning the league (pipping winning promotion when Keegan was a player). However, having read your post, I'd say the two moments hold equal significance for me.
  8. Someone on here recently commented that after he got that stomach injury against West Ham, he seemed to be prone to injury and niggles. I think even if he had been Abu Dhabi City's first choice keeper, he would have been in and out through injury.
  9. Dalglish's comments don't sound very convincing. "He is close to full training" doesn't seem to sit very well with "he's still got a bit to go before he'll be considered for a match".
  10. How the hell do West Ham get to the Semi Final of one cup and the Quarter final of another?
  11. I thought you were going to say he costs money.
  12. I honestly don't know, but that seems as fair a reason as any. Can't remember it being like this ever in the past.
  13. Very rare I would guess. It's also confused me by having both 4th and 5th round matches during the same weekend.
  14. I was only 16 at the time yet night of the rain is possibly still the most drunk I've ever been in life, to this day I do not know how I got back to my hotel. There was Geordies everywhere that day, must have been 10,000 in Barcelona, I remember the police coming into Plaça Reial and closing all the bars and restaurants. http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/6341/sbrw.jpg
  15. This bloody season man. 48 hours after a comfortable feeling that we may be very close to safety.... BANG. Another downer.
  16. Thought this was worth a bump having logged on and read the Enrique updates
  17. How many are at Wigan? I saw the the SSN reporter there and I couldn't see a single soul in the seats behind him.
