The incident had 2 noteworth elements. The Fallaini elbows were absolutely disgusting and if there is any justice, some kind of retrospective punishment will be dished out. However, he lashed out in frustration because, Dawson was it, basically had his arms wrapped around his waist and was restricting him from any movement. How that is not a penalty I will never know. Referee and Linesman managed to miss them both

I think under Keegan, with the tactics he sent the team out to play, someone of Saviola's ability might have flourished again but I am not sure that he would under Joe. However for a loan until the end of this season, he is worth a punt. Might provide some much needed craft and guile

I wouldn't call Stoke the North West. It's an hour from Derby. Just maybe he is not living in Stoke city centre. Nicky Butt & Michael Owen play for us but both live in the North West. so Faye could have easily done the same basically.
