It feels like his achievements are being downplayed with the speed with which people are wanting to dump him.
-
I'm sure one of the top clubs will snap him up to give him that opportunity.
-
I shall be sure to keep an eye on them over the next couple of seasons to see how many Champions League campaigns Farke gets them in to.

Woah, woah, woah. Hang on a second there How short are some memories on here?
-
I am not quite sure what you are asking. Are you referring to him taking Bournemouth from -17 points of the fourth division, all the way up to the premier league ? The key difference is that NUFC when he joined was quite different to where we are how.
-
You are probably correct but logically it doesn't make sense. People are blinded because of who Alonso was as a player. Alonso's one foray outside Germany was a disaster whereas Howe is a proven Premier League, Cup winning, Champions League qualifying manager.

Law of averages would say that at some point, they might have a better season than us. I feel completely confident that seasons like this will be infrequent for them, whereas our future looks so much brighter with much firmer foundations. Let them have their season. They won't have many so they can rewatch this seasons DVD in 12 months time and remember their glory years.

I think this is perfectly fair and reasonable. As a fanbase, we need to show some patience and not simply expect everything to be perfect and wonderful every single season. I get that it's difficult to handle when the time under Eddie has been so good, we are all hating the current situation, but I genuinely think we'll come out of it for the better if we just hold our nerve.

NUFC were in a very different place when Eddie arrived. Seemingly, all the people wanting Howe out are clearly looking for someone who will never fail to guarantee European football as this one disappointing season is clearly unacceptable to the point of giving him the sack. Iraola (as would most other options) would be a huge gamble. If we are in the mood to gamble, I say gamble with what we know for at least one more season.
-
I apologise for the arrogance but managing Bournemouth doesn't come with any where near the pressures of managing NUFC, especially the current version of NUFC Nothing in Iraola's record confirms he is capable of taking NUFC to greater heights than Champions League football and a League Cup win.

How dare we try and support our manager during a difficult time. Go and support Arsenal, man.
-
The more they spend, the more of a shit show they become. No stability or continuity there at all.
-
I'm not in anyway denying that things could and should be run better but we are so far ahead and improved from where we were 5 years ago, I'm choosing not to get my knickers in a twist about it and am choosing to carry on enjoying the ride that we all yearned for. If we are making mistakes in the search to be better, I'm happy to clap for that.
-
Yep. It's like nothing has improved at all

It wasn't one of those lucky cup wins though. We've been building up to that since Eddie arrived. That win was a result of his development of the squad since the day he arrived. This has been an iffy season (for reasons long discussed) but the previous three seasons should tell us all that we shouldn't be rash in deciding what to do in the summer.
-
As wild conspiracy theories go, that's a good one. We shouldn't be theorising bollocks like this and all we should be doing is channelling as much support as possible for him and the players between now and the end of the season. Too many fans are using too much energy hating the guy who we owe so much to.

The dream of playing in the Champions League and winning trophies ?
-
That's quite a close up picture Lovely to see his name being put up for it though

One of the things with Alonso is that I want him to be ordinary as I have little doubt in my mind that he's going to end up at Liverpool and be good. Awful thought
