I would be amazed if anyone fancied coming here. they would have to be Potentially becoming the most unattractive job in british football.

If the axe falls........? Sack the Board, Sack the Board, Sack the Board

I still think we should stick with him even though yesterdays result has put me in a right bad fettle this weekend. what is sad for me is that if he does turn it around (which I genuinely can see him doiing over the next 2/3 seasons), I cant see him ever forgetting the reaction of the fans and therefore will never show us any loyalty should a better offer rear its head. :-[

I agree, they've had a slapping from the fans, it's now time to see how they respond. maybe today was an indication that they have responded. hopefully they have taken on board the fans' reaction today.

What we need now is the whole stadium to get behind the team on wednesday, Win, lose or draw.
-
honestly. I think all our lives would be calmer if they just wound the club up and built a supermarket on the ground Fucking pathetic mess that are never going to be successful. I have had enough of having my weekends wasted.

The support Michael Owen gets on this board mirrors the support the rest of the team get at SJP

Why didnt the journalist just headline the piece. " I was bored today and this is what I dreamt of "

Was this Inside Sport last night ? I shouted "FUCK OFF YOU CUNT" which I think woke up my daughter and wife when he said some remark about Allardyce being out within 2 games. It was a perfect example of a shitty red top journalist who wanted to stir things up by saying something I am fairly confident has absolutely no substance in it whatsoever. Gabby stopped in her tracks and said "what, 2 games time?" and of course he just sat there and didnt justify his claim at all. Wanker

Going to have to stop Warnock knocking i them crosses as well. Some of them were top quality today

3 or 4 games into the season and after having seen Torres, I thought Liverpool were well on their way to challenging this year. Cant believe all this internal stuff is going on with them.

Brilliant vision for WH goal. So simple but just eased class. Didnt look at the fella but knew he was there for the open goal.

Btw how do you think Robbo or Dawson played today?? Robinson was excellent altho he wasn't overly stretched. I was shocked as too how much weight he has lost. IMO its pretty embarrasing for him, Jol, McClaren that he was able to carry so much around for so long without being called up on it. Ramos has him sorted in under a month. Dawson was alright. He looked a much better player without the awful Kaboul next to him tbf. Thanks for the unbiased view mate. Yeh Robbo's lost a lot of weight recently which is obviously a good thing. Ramos has him and Huddlestone on a strict diet which definatly seem to be working so far. Thought Robinson had a good game. Wondered whether being dropped by McLaren had made him buck his ideas up. Couple of good saves - 1 superb one from Boa Morte

I saw Bentleys attempt for a penalty. Cheating little cunt should fuck off with shit like that. The kids is talented enough without having to resort to tactucs like that. Wish the defender has stamped on his head for that - the only thing it deserved.

I just find it all so bloody depressing. In the Summer there was so much optimism around; more than there had been for so long. I dont want to believe that it was all another false dawn and that it was all for nothing.

Were you at the match? There was a good few thousand singing You Don't Know What You're Doing. And he doesn't on the last three games' evidence. Shocking performances. I wasnt and I know there were thousands singing it but sadly when Sky captures images like that, it just highlights even more how poor we seem to be at supporting our team when the times are bad. Yes, the last 3 games have been very very bad but when we expect the team to stand tall and fight things out on the pitch, the fans give the impression that we have given up already.
-
isnt this the lad who has all the Villareal fans preparing to stop supporting the club because they sold him? He must be a decent player. He is just finding himself in a team and a club with very little confidence
-
What support ?
-
Apologies if this has already been mentioned but who are those 2 utter twats shouting "you dont know what your doing" at Sam yesterday. Just seen it on goals on Sunday and I felt like wishing the ground would swallow me up I was so embarrased. What a set of fans we are !

Clever way for MON to deflect the attention away from himself. Shearer as the next England manager is total nonsense. We cant afford to take a chance on a person with no managerial or coaching experience whatsoever. The next manager has to be proven at international level or at least have had success in european club competition. Havent got a clue who mind but we have to take the time to find someone.
-
thats the key to the whole argument. absolutely no point sacking him unless there is a realistic replacement lined up has a proven successful record. Personally, i dont think we could possibly attract one right now
-
For me, I agree that I have grave doubts over Allardyce now and agree that he may be out of his depth at a club with such resources and expectations such as ours but I am forcing myself to believe that now is the time to not act on impulse. Who knows what the right decision is because football is such a fickle game, that we could win say 6 out of the next 10 and this board, and peoples opinions, will be totally different. On the basis that I dont think we could get a real high quality manager, a la Mourinho (which if we are looking to replace Sam is the only way to appease the fans), we may as well have a go at the patience thing.
-
keep him because of what other people would think ? Keep him because we need some continuity. They would be laughing because they would be right in thinking that our club and our fans are a joke.
-
Sacking him now would cement our reputation as a revolving door club and the whole country wouldnt stop laughing. Just got to roll with the punches at the minute. Keep him.

I stand ready to be criticised because I have not had time to read any of the previous posts and I was only able to catch 5 minutes or so of the match but.... We have a new Chairman, New Board, New Manager, New Defenders etc yet it seems no better than last season.. if not worse. Whats the one thing that has remained constant... US.. the fans. i honestly believe that the fans are the root of all the problems. I know its nigh on impossible to get motivated when the team are performing poorly but until we are able to give 100% support during the 90 minutes and to get behind them vocally, regardless of the performance, the players are never ever going to respond on the pitch. It doesnt matter which 11 you have wearing the shirts. Sadly, it will never happen so no matter which manager we get in, which players we get, us fans are always going to drag us down. Fucking depressed I am this afternoon
