  1. And although I know life doesnt work this simply but there is the matter of a certain FA Cup tie to avenge
  2. Agreed. The whole "most Geordies want Shearer as manager" thing boils my piss. Going to be some head scratching at the red tops tonight wondering what to print.
  3. Bet it doesnt get the slightest mention in the national press got mentioned on the BBC report BBC ? Wow. I stand corrected then. Credit to them.
  4. I think a steady but unspectacular 1-0. Enough to help steady the ship that little bit more. Birmingham going to be a decent test - I think McLeish will do a decent job there.

Clearly based on 1 mistake. And yes it was a mistake but fuck that was a quality goal. Unlucky to have that happen from 1 bad clearance.
  6. Bet it doesnt get the slightest mention in the national press
  7. Who are the fans Arms aloft) with the crystal ball that already knew that was going in. Cracking anticipation

Surely as the best natural left back at the club then he has to start every game. Confidence is the key and he can only gain this by playing game and game.
  9. I always remember after we beat Man Utd 5-0 that the following week, we lost away to Leicester 2-0 bascially meaning that the 5-0 result counted for very little bar 7 days pride and gloating. I hope, after the boost in confidence that we have gained from tonight performance, it is channelled in the right way so that the performance on Saturday, at least equals tonights and that the result is bettered. We all, players and manager included, need to remind ourselves that the last few weeks havent been wiped away tonight and that we need a few more weeks and months of this to prove we have the football club we all felt we had in the summer after the regime and management change.
  10. I hate this. I expected us to get well and truly battered tonight and now, having got it back to 1-1, if we end up losing I know I am going to be absolutely devastated
  11. Unfortunately I think we are in for a right battering tonight
  12. Yet another absolute bullshit story in the Press. Does anyone actually believe all this bollocks
  13. Born in Durham, lived in Chester-le-Street (although now in Solihull), Dad from Walker so have black and white blood
  14. Quite typcial of the BBC at the minute I think. I think they will be feeling pretty smug that they have probably put a bit more bad PR on our doorstep.
  15. Aye. Not quite sure what she was getting at going on about that. She trying to get some kind of confession out of him. Stupid tart. Seemed to enjoy telling him that the rest of his family were also nasty killers as well Up until he had to correct her because she'd missed one of his cousins out I bet she is giving the researchers a right bollocking for that
  16. Well Arsenal Land seems to have plenty of votes. Thats not fucking rigged is it ?
  17. Aye. Not quite sure what she was getting at going on about that. She trying to get some kind of confession out of him. Stupid tart. Seemed to enjoy telling him that the rest of his family were also nasty killers as well
  18. Doesnt seems to display much passion for the game itself though. Not sure if thats something to worry about or just was taken out of the interview
  19. Wasn't the fan thing an interview with The Sun? I must admit I havent a clue. Just heard Talksport talking about it Saturday morning. they didnt quote which paper.
  20. Are the comments about the Toon fans part of this interview or is this a different interview ?
  21. Too much religious shit. they deserve no such accolades. Cant choose between Liverpool/Everton or Manchester Derby..... I say Liverpool v Man Utd (its nearly a derby)
  22. I cant see any other result than a defeat purely because of how class Arsenal are as much as how poor we are. Based on that I can only hope it can be an honourable defeat - similar to a few seasons ago when they beat us 0-1 through a deflected Viera goal and the ref missing a blant handball by Cole at the Gallowgate. Despite that we really performed well and the fans appreciated the effort. If the same happens again tomorrow then we can take that into the Birmingham game. Really, am praying that they have their first off day of the season and we sneak a draw or even a sly win
  23. What other foreign managers are there with Prem experience? Jean Tigana? well for 12 games to be able to prove he can win us the champions league why not. If he fails we just sack him and try again. we are the sluts of the managers world - love em and leave em. thats us.
