native american shurely ? please excuse my total political incorrectness

And the guy who sat in the East stand, right next to the Corner that used to make the sound like a Red Indian ?
-
Good to know that Darren is still remembered. I used to stand in the Scoreboard and remember Mad Darren well (although not personally)
-
I think its just that SGE won most of the games that I think we would expect England too bearing in mind the quality that we have. The fact that McLaren struggled against the likes of Macedonia is staggering
-
He was when it mattered. What he was very capable of doing though was get a good squad of players playing well enough to qualify for major tournaments. How the fuck can McLaren not get that team of footballers to qualify
-
Durham Wasps were always kings of the rink

From both ours and Mickey's perspective, we are both knackered. Who on earth would buy him. We have to focus on the fact that he is going to be with us for a while until such time he maintains some level of consistency with his fitness. Hopefully in that time, the team develops on the pitch to a point that he feels he would like to stay

Our best ever Champions League finish, that's what he brought to the club and it shouldn't be forgotten. Always be grateful for that Feyenoord match. I dont think I have shouted so loud as when that 3rd goal went in. Pur and utter delerium just doesnt explain it properly.

I thought that said Adam Sandler !!

Against Coventry, Nobby off Speed on. Went on and won the game 1 - 4. I remember away at Blackburn... late 80's... 2nd half, Darren Bradshaw came on as a sub and then got subbed about 10 minutes later... wasnt injured.

Whats the stats for the amount of new threads started on the subject of "Is Sam good enough?" this week as apposed to last week ?
-
Very good and agree whole heartedly. The only thing I disagreed with was the criticism of Gordon. Not sure our goal was his fault, nor does it make him a bad keeper.
-
That fucking football club. I hate them now as much as I did back then.
-
Sunderlands biggest problem will be is Keane buggers off. The whole Irish thing suggests that if he cant look at an ex Ireland international, he wont have a clue where to go
-
Do they have a Champions League game the week after at all ?
-
Not quite sure if its jealousy or just pure frustration at the fact that we have had nothing to shout about for 50 odd years.
-
really ? Yes. I've been through this a few times on this very board. I honestly don't think he was trying to kick him in the head. Probably agree that he wasnt being so acurate as to kick him in teh head but he definitely appears to intend on kicking him somewhere
-
Is that your final score prediction or just the half time prediction? :parky: Judging by the Portsmouth game.. probably about 16 minutes.
-
Sunderlands team sheet I take it

Read the comments. ;D It is bad mind isnt it when you watch it again.

I think Shearer kicking Neil Lennon in the head was much much worse I don't think Shearer kicking Lennon was worse because I'm still not convinced that Shearer meant it although he probably did. Shearer was going down and was spinning, I think he probably went for Lennon but I'm not certain. I am certain that Barton knew what he was doing. Before I posted, I had to remind myself and I found it on youtube. Looked bad to me. Ball was behind Alan so he couldnt have claimed to have just missed it. I am certainly not trying to defend Barton but at least he could defend himself by saying he jumped up to avoid being clattered by the player running right at him. His choice of destination for his foot seemed very deliberate mind don't know if its my harsh humour, but last time I saw it on there, I found the caption "Neil Lennon headbutts Alan Shearer's boot" quite funny. haha. aye. thats what it says. At first I thought I had found the wrong thing.

didnt see it. who are they talking about ? I take it George Graham was a "Spurs kind of Manager". what a shite phrase that is
