Graham Taylor. More mongs emailing into Sky. We are going to win everything apparently
-
Idiot, did you actually listen to him? Oh, and Emre DID have to go. Some people give NUFc fans a bad name. No he didn't have to go Yes, he did. Stop with the NUFC thing, and judge it dispassionately. We should be pointing the finger at Rennie. If he had punished the Stoke kid, Emre wouldnt have felt like he had to do it himself. Not a great reaction by Emre hbut we all know what its like when we feel justice hasnt been served

When was the last time we scored 4 goals at home ?
-
Has Keegan got them in at training tomorrow at all ?
-
Smiles on the faces of the fans. Says it all. Havent seen that in a long time
-
Just caught the last few seconds of the Man City match.... never good when you can hear the players shouting at each other
-
KK walked int SJP as the cameras were there said "Its good to be home" I wasnt sure about all of this but I cant avoid getting swept along on this
-
Le Tissier is such a twat. Bigging Stoke up at every opportunity and eating while commenting on the game. Fat unprofessional twat. How come gets a job doing this.
-
Its all shit this really because it going to get everyones hopes up that we are making a bold and brave choice as manager.... when in reality its going to be something like Keegan
-
Good man. Yet more shite just casually added in to make the headlines. He probably said something along the lines of "other clubs" so they instered the words "Newcastle United" instead, the probably have a special "Find/Replace" function on their Word Processors
-
Yes, how dare he walk home in a public place and have a camera and microphone shoved in his face. The fucking cheek of the man. How Sky could call that an Interview I will never know.
-
Just caught the end of it tonight. Hansen patting the seat next to him when saying Shearer would be with them tomorrow night. Do they really expect him to come out and ask for an interview in front of them ?
-
I was very sceptical about the bookies odds and the papers reporting of Redknapp but eventually there was something in it. I am guessing that some kind of conversation has taken place with him and/or his advisors, its probably the level of those talks that are being expanded out of proportion
-
I did smile at SSN's "Exclusive" interview with Keegan..... i.e. chasing the poor bloke through an airport arrivals gate asking him questions
-
was nice while it lasted. What about his quotes though? the quotes saying "no approach"? by tomorrow the chase will probably have moved on to pastures new. His agent might think that Xavier is a total knob though, so deliberately threw him off the scent to make him look a fool (probably because he knew he would go on every radio station conceivable and blab about it) Hard to know what to believe nowadays
-
Nowt wrong with that though. The chairman doing a great job of providing the fans with an insight into their thought process. Good read imo. Communication. Vital part of the whole process. Another thing that let Sam down in the fact that he didnt let the fans know what his thought processes were with his team selections. Good move by Mort.
-
There's no quotes. None here either to be fair. I think everyone realised that was far too short-sighted to be true though. Can't decide if I'm still excited by all this, more anxious now. Massive decision. I am very nervous.

Honestly.. is there a queue of people all wanting to add their bit to this story. You would have thought the likes of Roeder would have kept a very low profile when offering advice on how to succeed at this job when he obviously had no clue whatsoever.
-
What happened to "He must be British" ?
-
If a manager shows signs of improvement he'll get time. First full season he finished 6th and then sold his best player at the time. sadly "signs of improvement" and finishing 6th won't appease some of our fans. Are you joking? Give the fans more credit than that. I agree. I think most, if not all fans would have been happy this year just to see some obvious improvement from the Roders months. In the summer, even UEFA wasnt an expectation. For me, 9th, 10th would have been a reasonable start to the Sam years. Sam failed because every thing that he did pointed to detrioration and things getting worse.

Better than normal though, he reminds me of http://img128.imageshack.us/img128/4804/skullcrossbones05pc5.th.jpg

but as said above, wont get anywhere near as much criticism from the press and other fans - if any at all

One of the major things that needs to be improved upon is the atmosphere inside SJP on match days. Appointing Hughes would generate a fair bit of ovious apathy about the place. Bringing Keegan back, maybe with Shearer is the only appointment that is guaranteed to get that feel good factor back. There is way too much negativity about the place at the minute and I think we need a quick fix

I remember when Hughes first went there, Blackburn used to kick the living fuck out of anything that moved
