I think it is good that he is prepared to make a hard decision regardless of the timing of it..... so long as it is justifyable. We probably wont ever know the reasons why but going on the assumption that he became aware of some information that he wasnt happy about (and wasnt previously aware of), then I am glad he is tough enough to do what he has done. Only time will tell if it was a twatish decision or not.

Priceless Just seen Martin Jol saying that they bought Boateng because they thought Ghaly was off ho ho He claimed that he didnt think much of the playing staff at Birmingham. Does this mean that all of the negotiations were purely about money because I understood that most players worth their salt like to know what players they are going to play with, potential new signings, where does manager see their role in the team etc etc before signing for a new club. Leads me to believe he might have a point tbh. I would have thought that had I not seen him completely avoid the question put to him. To me, that suggested he knew exactly what happened but for some reason decided to say nothing. He could have even just said "I dont know" but his total avoidance just came across as a bit devious to me. He was already laying the blame completely at our doorstep so why no just go the whole hog and tell the world we upped the bid or not That's a fair point like! Perhaps he doesn't want it to turn into a "war of words" as the press seem to love? Perhaps he just didn't want to let on to the red-tops? I just think that there's more than an element of truth to what he's saying/implying. We're not whiter than white in this thing imo. Oh I agree that we dont look great in all of this. Just seen the curbishley interview on SSN Interviewer asked directly if we had asked for more money. He completely sidestepped the question and instead tried to push more the fact that it was all down to us and all our fault. Fucking twat - trying to act the big man now just because he has some money to spend. I used to think he was an honest bloke as well. Am really hopeful that once again, the place is going to be somewhere where our lads love to play and where opponents dont look forward to coming to. Too much recently i think our lads have been terrified of running out onto the pitch due to the negativity around the place I am sure Sam said in his opening press conference that was what he wanted and its fair to say that he achieving it.
