Player for player, its very difficult to choose. What advantage Spurs have is that they have a decent manager who has been able to develop a good settled side over the last couple of years. We are still struggling to recover from Souness and Roeder. The difficult choice seems to be which Newcastle players are fit. Surely Emre is good enough for Spurs (assuing he would be fit)

To be fair, arent both teams fairly evenly matched? Spurs have have had a couple of good seasons so no one can deny that they are improving on their pefromances pre-2005/6'ish. I think that after a season or 2 under Sam however, and assuming that the whole recent Jol/levy things doesnt completely fuck up the balance and momentum at the club we will be easily be fighting them for 4th/5th place.
